I saw your earlier postOriginally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostBlah, unfair post.
You were right, but as soon as the league fixtures came out, i booked a flight on the day of the Blackburn game, they were quite cheap so i took the chance.
Now with the Europa game on the 21st, the Blackburn game will be moved from the Saturday to the Sunday
I'm hoping to get the flights changed, all we need is a night time flight on the Sunday and we'll be sorted. Prob cos a fortune to do that tho

As i said, i took the chance with the flights being alot cheaper than what they'd usually be - i'm sure other people have done it before and will again.Originally posted by -V- View PostIts true. How could you not have known we had the europa league games? Did you expect us to go out?
Don't know why a fellow Liverpool fan would want to laugh about it, quite sad really.

Do you know what i do before i book train tickets, when i get the train to Liverpool for games?Originally posted by Rudo View PostStop being a prick. When you have to arrange return flights from Belfast to Liverpool and you have a hotel etc booked and your plans go up and smoke, it's no laughing matter. Doesn't come cheap you know.
You carry on complaining about your drive from London to Liverpool and how your Sunday is ruined if we play at home on a Sunday
If only i had the luxury of driving from London to Liverpool and back instead of all this ****e.
I check to the see if that game is scheduled just after a Europa League match date, and if it is, i dont book the train until i know for sure, what date the PL game is going to be played.
If it was quite cheap, then what are you whinging at me for? You take the risk and get the cheap flights - if you have to cancel it, you dont lose much because they were so cheap.Originally posted by Rudo View PostI saw your earlier post

I was laughing because it's just like you to not think ahead and use your initiative. I wasnt laughing at the fact that you're ****ed, i was laughing at the predictibility that this would happen to you.Last edited by Craig_H; 27-08-10, 07:58 PM.

I didnt see Dannyman's post, but the Europa League match dates are accessible to anyone with internet access. And when we have a EL game, our following PL game will always be switched to the Sunday. Not rocket surgery, as shaggy would say.
I'm sure Rudo will be able to switch his flights, with a minor admin charge.

The quality of the CL this season is pretty pathetic in comparison to how it's been in normal seasons there are some strange teams in there and some normal better teams missing out. So, in terms of pedigree of the competition if there was one season to be playing in this competition this is one where at least it won't be as bad as previous seasons.
PSV, Sevilla, Porto, Palermo, Juventus, Sampdoria, Stuttgart, CSKA Moscow, Villarreal, Sporting, Leverkusen etc is a whole lot better than the tripe filling up the 3rd and 4th place spots in many of the CL groups. I know it's a nothing competition and I feel that way about it, but winning it would be quite rewarding.
4.5m loan deal for the season, option to buy at 10.5m. Surely they're not going to be able to have the cash to buy Motta, Aquilani, Quagliarella and Pepe in full at the end of the season.Originally posted by Fernandinho View Postthey seem to be getting all their players on loan.... I wonder if Quagliarella is heading the same way...
I've added that up to be roughly 38m euros, not including the initial loan fees paid upfront. Ridiculous decision because either they're forgoing any transfers for next season or missing out on potentially important members loaned to their squad/paying an outlandish total for a 1 season loan.

I'd say very close to be the toughest one with exception of J and L where potentially 3 teams are in the mix.Originally posted by Fernandinho View PostFrom the looks of that I would say we are in a more competitive group then average but not the hardest and certainly a group we can get out of with a mixture of squaddies and youths
We shoulg to through but I don't think it will be that easy..Last edited by Mostar; 27-08-10, 10:44 PM.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club
