Was actually thinking of the 0-0 at Eastlands when Mancini put 11 men behind the ball and we were happy with that, playing our part in the worst game of football ever. Truely dire stuff.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Not one for the memory banks. I would take that result this time round tbh

Think that was the game where that old ******* mentioned about having a corner in the eighth minute and then being 3-0 down at the end. The old *******.

I went to both of those ...cost me nearly £100 to see one of the dullest goalless draws ever followed by one of our worst performances ever. **** my life.

Yes, that doesn't surprise me. I don't remember the match, just remember standing in the bar moaning about it, so it must have been a Saturday 3 o'clock KO.

Ha ha, I was actually gonna say that it was bad enough going to bar to watch it but God help those who actually went to it.

Been to that 'new' Citeh ground 3 times. 0-0, 0-0, 0-3. I've been to 3 out of the last 4 trips there.

The one I missed was the one when we were 2-0 down and came back to win 3-2.

              **** my life!!!!

And get this. Sharing a ST this season. Think we've played 5 league games at home in the league.

I've been to two of 'em.

                    Sunderland
                    Norwich

                    Next one's City.

                      That's pretty bad man.

And yet you still persist with footy coupons at the weekends? Please don't say you waste money on the Lottery too?

Don't do the lottery. Had three wins on the coupons this season but usually do a couple a week

I think I speak for us all in that I'd rather lose to city than Swansea given the choice, so this is a relief.
                          Oh I don't know.

Stitch up,we arent even on telly either

LIVERPOOL FC have been left fuming by the scheduling of their Carling Cup quarter-final with Chelsea.

Kenny Dalglish’s men have been ordered to travel to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, November 29 – just 48 hours after their crunch clash with Premier League leaders Manchester City at Anfield.

The Reds were told the tie couldn’t take place on the Wednesday because Spurs are hosting PAOK Salonika in the Europa League and there is also major strike action scheduled.

The Metropolitan Police wouldn’t allow any other high profile games to take place in the capital that night.

In response Liverpool made a request to the Football League to have their quarter-final delayed until the date reserved for the first leg of the semi-finals in early January.

However, that was rejected with the club told that league officials feared holding over a last eight game until then could lead to fixture congestion ahead of the final at Wembley on February 26.

The Reds then pursued the possibility of moving their televised league game with Manchester City from 4pm on Sunday, November 27 back to the Saturday in order to give them more time to prepare for the trip to Chelsea.

They had the full support of Man City, who find themselves in a similar position having been told they must travel to Arsenal for their Carling Cup quarter-final on Tuesday, November 29.

However, the Premier League ruled out a change to the timing of the league game at Anfield saying it would affect their contractual obligations with TV companies.

Liverpool have now had to admit defeat in their bid to get the tie moved but they are deeply unhappy with the way they have been treated.

They believe the Football League are prepared to undermine the integrity of their flagship competition by declining Liverpool’s requests.

With Chelsea playing Wolves at home in the league on the Saturday, the Londoners have been handed a sizeable advantage. They not only have an extra day’s rest than Liverpool but they also have no travelling to contend with.

The Reds’ clash with Man City won’t finish until nearly 6pm on the Sunday – yet the Football League expect them to walk out at Stamford Bridge a little over 48 hours later.

It’s particularly galling for Liverpool considering the continued support they have given for the Carling Cup, which they have won a record seven times.

Dalglish has spoken of his determination to clinch the trophy this season and has consistently fielded strong teams during a run which has seen the Reds knock out Exeter, Brighton and Stoke.

However, the manager is now faced with a nightmare scenario of two huge games just two days apart.
