In fact loyal Liverpool supporters do just that - support the lad. I agree with above posts worst LFC midfield i've ever seen

Can't wait to see Miereles play and we play a left back that can cross. I just hope Roy only uses Jova as a sub from now on, and prefers Babel or Maxi. And we still have Cole to come back thank God.
Today's game was the mark of champions, play atrociously and gain 3 points. Against Arsenal we played much better but unluckily dropped 2.
I'm relieved, and by that relief I'm happy for the rest of the weekend. Spurs, LOL, and Man City dropping points would be great. One tit for another.

we cant seriously expect hodgson to imprint his ideas onto rafa benitez's team in 3 weeks and it will take time.Originally posted by JohnDoe View PostPathetic performance. We needed a counter attack to score, says it all really.
Its obvious the players havent grasped his tactics because unlike fulham we were all over the place, we had no shape, we had no control of the ball, we conceded posession too easily and the amount of space they had to play in was unbelievable.
But given time and some decent signings we might get there.[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]

What's the deal with the left back position? Where are Aurelio and Insua? If they are unavailable why not play Kelly there at least he's looked decent there Agger was poor there again.
We need to get LB sorted and move Agger back to CBThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Spurs get 0 points against Wigan, City get 0 points against Sunderland, we get 3 against WBA. A good weekend.
As for the **** that was masquerading as Liverpool on the pitch, Meireles and Konchesky can't get here soon enough IMO. Lucas to the bench, Poulsen DM, Jova to the bench and Cole on the left, Meireles in attacking midfield, Gerrard in the hole, Torres up top, Skrtel to the bench, Agger to the middle, Konchesky LB.
We need a shuffle desperately; Jova, Lucas, Skrtel out. Dire dire stuff, that."Our legacy begets an excellence that surpasses the particulars of who produces it." -- David Carr

the man city game was a poor day at the office but because of the players available and those ruled out we had no choice but to go into a massive game with lucas as our main defensive midfielder.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View Postgood post mate.
It was never going to work and it didnt. Our problems made them look like world beaters and they're obviously not but there wasnt any other options.
We need to take one step at a time and players like cole and meireles (hopefully) will help.[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]

I'm not blaming Hodgson. The squad is crap. Grasping tactics won't change the fact it was the worst midfield I've ever seen play for Liverpool. The quality just isn't there. Hopefully Meireles is a world beater and Joe Cole justifies Gerrard's comments because otherwise, we're in massive trouble.Originally posted by el matador View Postwe cant seriously expect hodgson to imprint his ideas onto rafa benitez's team in 3 weeks and it will take time.

Only I'd much prefer Aurelio at LB to that cockney journeyman. Otherwise, yeah...that's the team crying out to be picked. We can only improve - it's been woeful so far. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
