It's a shame really if that's indeed the case.

I don't know what's wrong with some of these young lads these days. They have such an opportunity and in most instances they waste it.

Total waste if that's the case as he was very talented, remember watching him for the reserves one night and had a feeling he would be good, he was in the first 11 for the Arsenal game at the Emirates a few weeks later and played well but didn't kick on from them.

Anyhow this is one outgoing player i'm too fussed about losing. It does make you wonder who's calling the shots re the departing players though. It's almost as if when Roy took over he was told these players are being sold, as a fair few of the players didnt feature in preseason.

I'm sure we'd have seen Lucas and Babel depart if they'd been willing and half decent bids came in.
