Take out Darby and Spearing from our squad, who for me are just there to make up the numbers and its much the same.Originally posted by pondus View PostChelsea players registered:

I'm seriously p'd off we didn't go in for VVD for 8 milOriginally posted by Scratch View PostArsenal ain't done much better in terms of senior player, and half they're youngsters i ain't heard of. United have also included a few no-marks in their 23, some who won't get a game, much like Darby and Spearing i would expect.
Spurs can't loose at all at that price

I'm not tho...not the player he had the potential to be, and now slightly injury prone too. I'd love him to be a success in the premiership cos i was a big fan when he was a younger player, but....well, we will see.Originally posted by SB View PostI'm seriously p'd off we didn't go in for VVD for 8 mil

Your right . He could struggle but 8mil isn't much of a gamble IMOOriginally posted by Scratch View PostI'm not tho...not the player he had the potential to be, and now slightly injury prone too. Yeah if it doesn't work out in a year or two they could still sell him for 5-6 mil back to Germany or wherever. It's a no brainer IMOOriginally posted by Resu View PostDepends on wages and length of contract as well. I see it`s a standard four year deal, which will make him 31 at the end.
But I agree, it`s a good gamble by Spurs.

This rule does take the piss a bit when none of their "homegrown" players are from the England/UK.Originally posted by Scratch View PostArsenal ain't done much better in terms of senior player, and half they're youngsters i ain't heard of."Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone." Yep, Chelsea's squad isn't all that great in terms of numbers and quality back up.Originally posted by pondus View PostChelsea players registered:

If they injuries to a few first team players they might struggle a little bit.
Obviously they'll still finish well above us though.
