If this team can play exciting football....

Arsenal: Almunia, Connolly, Senderos, Djourou, Clichy, Flamini, Song Billong, Denilson (Randall 78), Walcott, Adebayor (Traore 24), Aliadiere.
Subs Not Used: Poom, O'Cearuill, Simpson.

........then why can't we be "a joy to watch"?

You can surely only say its the type of players you've got to a certain extent, surely the way you play is AT LEAST 50% in the coaching and tactics, particularly when you have some class players like we do.

Of the players we've got I would say who are quite comfortable on the ball and good with the ball at their feet, I'd say they are Riise/Aurelio, Finnan (even though he's not very dynamic like Arsenals full backs), Gerrard, Alonso, Kewell (when fit obviously), Pennant, Gonzalez (supposedly), our strikers, Kuyt, Bellamy, Fowler and even Crouch to an extent are quite comfortable with the ball on the deck. So why can't we try and play some entertaining football?

I think partly we are let down by our lack of cohesion and pace in some areas, but can we honestly say that we think we are trying to play some entertaining football.

Isn't that what Benitez said when he first came, that he wanted the fans to enjoy watching the team and bring in players who would have the fans on the edge of their seats?

Edge of the seat? I think I've been on the edge of my seat in about 5 league games in the last 3 yrs. Apart from cup finals and the odd other game (Luton, Juve home) the impartial fan would never call us an entertaining side

Shouldn't we be aspiring to play good entertaining football?

We play some good stuff at home. Away is a totally different story.
