If a couple of goals for Spain can bring back his goalscoring confidence, then these internationals may actually be good for LFC. Argentina game looks like its actually in Spain given the 9pm kickoff. No way would the players from both sides go all the way to Argentina for a ****ing friendly.
Heard on the radio earlier that the game was in Buenos Aires

You're ****ing kidding? I hope they got it wrong, just coz its listed as an Argentina home game. If that kick-off time is right, it'd be middle of the day in BA, on a bloody tuesday.

You would expect him to be. Bloody hell, I hope the Spain coach gives Llorente a game instead of Torres

It has already been said Torres is just lacking match fitness so the games will do him good.

Looking at that first goal, he's lost a yard of pace by the looks of it, can't see it coming back either

That's my worry too. When he first came he would knock the ball past defenders and skin them for pace. Not really seen that for a long time.

All those injuries to his knees and hammys are bound to take their toll. I hope we're wrong and he gets that back as he gets fitter but I just can't see it.

but the fact that he'll be on a plane for hours will not do him any good.

Fernando Torres admits he is not yet 100 per cent fit but promises Liverpool fans the best is yet to come.
The Spaniard's start to the season has been sporadic because of an injury sustained in the World Cup final, with the Reds' medical team keen to make sure that he is not rushed back too soon.

But Torres showed in the recent win over West Brom, when he scored the only goal, that he is making good progress.

And he added to the optimism about his well-being when he hit a brace for his country on Friday evening.

The 26-year-old, though is pleased with the way his recovery has been handled, is in upbeat mood about the season ahead.

Torres said: "The recuperation is perfect and we have waited our time. I am still not 100 per cent, but the people will soon see the best Torres.

"Each time I am recuperating sensations and I hope to obtain success with Liverpool this season."

These comments are the kiss of death, he'll probably get crocked again in argentina tomorrow night. The ****ers have no need to take him.

The Spanish training sessions indicates that he is in the starting line-up against Argentina, and Villa is rested for this one, according to Norwegian media.
