SSN reckons Ngog should make it.

Which probably means he's out for months.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Aside from having Torres available for the trip to the Midlands, Hodgson is also confident David Ngog will have recovered from a hamstring to take his place in the squad.

“David is much better,” said Hodgson.

“We were obliged to withdraw him from the France Under-21 squad and hopefully that he will be able to train on Friday.”

Guess we'll find out who the first choice CBs are now with Konch in at LB. I'm praying its Carra and Agger, but have a horrible feeling Skrtel will be in there instead, at least for away games.

Better if Wash doesnt play anyway, their balti-munching inbred fans will destroy him for that superbly executed and badly needed dive against them at Anfield last season.

had to get that one in didn't you. ****ing hell you'd think it was impossible to win a game of football playing 442, you really would.

I love you Bob Your constant and instant leaps to Roy's defence really do tickle me

Not saying you're wrong BTW, it's just quite comical

was trying to think of a way to jokingly say no without seeming massively obtuse, but to no avail.

Nothing wrong with 442 - it's just the ngog and torres partnership that looks flawed.

That said, some of the moaners should remember the circumstances in which it was picked. We were light in numbers in midfield.

We should never contemplate 442 until we have proper wingers.

I didn't mention 4-4-2, but just that Ngog and Torres as a partnership doesn't work. Ngog doesn't have the game intelligence yet to play there. We don't have the personnel to play 4-4-2 and if Hodgson cannot see that then we're bound to have a few teething problems this season. It's not that he has gone out and bought players to suit this system hasn't he?
                              Are we winning?

I'm sorry but that is complete bollocks IMO. Poulsen was in the 'original' leaked team alongside Masch and even if that team was wrong Poulsen had played in the Europa the Thursday before and was on the bench at City so was clearly match fit (or fit enough).

It was a tactical **** up by Roy plain and simple. One which i'm hoping he'll learn from. No-one is saying 4-4-2 (or a variant of) cannot work but playing to number 9's, Jova and Kuyt out wide when they're clearly not suited to that role in a 4-4-2 against a City side who were always gonna play 3 in the middle was suicidal. It was plain it wasn't working after 5 minutes yet Roy persisted with it for the whole ninety. Highly perplexing for a man of his supposed football intelligence.

I'm an optimist but sometimes you've just got to say the manager got it wrong.
