Ok keeping this sensible firstly:Originally posted by Marsh View Posthow is an actuAL QUOte blowing it out of proportion
oops bloody caps button
you can admit that you know your arguments should be applied to the two players mentioned
So you agree that with the circumstances and conditions that Roy Hodsgon has had to deal with i.e:
- Keeping Top Names
- Little or No Funding
- Masch Leaving (City game)
- Late Signings
- Cole getting sent off in first game
- Poxy fixture list
- Bedding players in
Taking these into account do you feel that although NOBODY is immune from critcism, logically that with all these culminating factors that surely its only fair that after 4 league games and being only 2 points off 4th place that Roy deserve's a wee bit more time before people start throwing the toys out of the pram?
Secondly:
- Do you feel that its fair to compare a footballer's position like say Jovo or Maxi to the position that Roy is in?
Once again my original point before the witchhunt started was thats under the current circumstance Roy deserves more time, a certain aount of criticism is due but i said "he deserves some slack". Lets not stray form this as this was my original points.

i dont disagree with your Roy needs more time. but then a player who is new to this league who has joined a club that has a lot of negativity about it also not much time with the manager working on how he wants
all anyone is saying to you is that every argument you use against critising Roy (and they are valid) are also valid when looking at the two new signings that you have slated.
there are quotes showing you have slated them.
it really isnt difficult.

Did you ever hear the pro rafa contingent saying exactly the same thing to LFC fans who wanted rafa out?Originally posted by Neil Young View PostTalking of keeping things in proportion, who else is waiting for a retraction of the childish and lame accusation that any LFC supporters want Hodgson to fail?
You'll be waiting for a long time for that retraction i can tell you mate, some people want him to fail, just as some people wanted Rafa to fail, i know one LFC personally that wants Roy to fail, its not beyond the realms of LFC to think this as shocking as it may seem, but very few openly admit it regardless of th defensive they put up.

I don't think you realise what i am saying, i never said that i am against criticism, all i said which has been blown out of proportion typically is that i feel the criticism is unjust "at this particular time with all that he has put up with" and in no way, shape or form does a managers position, especially Roy Hodgson's position compare with any of LFC player at the moment.Originally posted by Marsh View Posti dont disagree with your Roy needs more time. but then a player who is new to this league who has joined a club that has a lot of negativity about it also not much time with the manager working on how he wants

From the very start many LFC fans were against Roy's appointment, many have admitted as much on here, Roy knows this he said as much in one of his initial interviews that he needs the fans on his side. The guy is under immense pressure, and there's no way his situation can be compared to Jovo's or Maxi's, no way no matter how you try to swing it.

Well then this mate of yours isn't a Liverpool supporter. He's a fan of himself and his own opinion, that's it.Originally posted by danperkins View PostDid you ever hear the pro rafa contingent saying exactly the same thing to LFC fans who wanted rafa out?

I've only been once so far this season, but do you think I spent upwards of £50 going to Man City in the hope we lost?
Get real.

Ok then I think Roy Hodgson is a woeful, terrible, gutless pussy of a manger.Originally posted by danperkins View PostI don't think you realise what i am saying, i never said that i am against criticism, all i said which has been blown out of proportion typically is that i feel the criticism is unjust "at this particular time with all that he has put up with" and in no way, shape or form does a managers position, especially Roy Hodgson's position compare with any of LFC player at the moment.

No, you accused some fans who did not want Hodgson appointed of wanting us to lose and him to fail so we could be "proved right". That is an utterly moronic, brain dead thing to say and you're gonna get hammered for it.Originally posted by danperkins View PostEpically Blown out Of proportion and my initial point lost and twisted, its sad times

But there are supporters out there waiting for him to fail, that is very clear, just as there were supporters waiting for Rafa to fail. This isn't a shock. I have zero problem swith any criticism in general, nobody is immune, haha **** all i said was that at this point with all the **** thats gone on i think Roy deserves some slack and then yez brought the claws out, funny ****.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostWell then this mate of yours isn't a Liverpool supporter. Are Inter not a top side?Originally posted by red g View PostRafa was a potentially great manager gone bad due to the situation we are in. Although i am not sure his managerial style suits these molly coddled professional players of today, but he is a born winner for sure.
Roy is a steady eddie who has never been given a chance with a top side.....is there a reason for this? only time will tell.

How is it very clear? I know a lot of Reds, personally. One of them is happy that Roy is our manager, the rest are not, me included. Yet not one of them wants us to lose and Roy to fail. If they did they wouldn't be LFC fans. Your accusation is childish and ultra lame. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
