If we get a point or three at Old Trafford, will this thread still be relevant?

I'm trying to gage as to where and when people will get off Roys back..

Rafa had a decent record there but Roy has had a really tough start to the campaign and I don't believe we can judge him properly until Xmas..

Apart from the original poster perhaps, I really don't think anyone on this thread has judged him definitively yet. Some of us are very underwhelmed, yeah, we don't feel we've yet seen signs for much optimism but no-one has written him off.

As you rightly say, it's far too soon to judge. And if we're going to start assessing whether or not he's a successful manager of LFC, then so is Christmas, this year or next.
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

He didn't, we lost 5 out of 6 league games at OT under Rafa I think.

        Obviously the 4-1 was sensational.

No-one is making a final judgement on Roy, no-one has called for his head. People have naturally formed opinions on him after years in the game and are now calling things as they see it after eight ****e games. If we didn't then this forum would be empty - or rather half full of people saying how wonderful things are now Roy's in charge and that useless Spanish cunt has gone.

We'll lose on Sunday in all likelihood which makes things even worse but as you say it's not fair to start demanding his head after a defeat there. Christmas sounds about right but even then an ultimate judgement would seem harsh, especially when, like Rafa, he's doing the job with one arm tied behind his back.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Not sure of the exact record at home, but you said "there"...as in at their place.

We beat them in the FA Cup (Crouch headed winner) at our place and had at least a couple of wins - Babel winner, Torres/Ngog 2-0...any more?

Beat Chelsea though didn't we...Sissoko owned Ballack, Crouch headed the winner.

                      I did...

                      Just had a look..
I think we fancied our chances more as games went on.

Still can't judge Roy at this stage, imo..

I will never forgive Cisse for that miss at their place, before Ferdinand's last ****ing minute winner.

I think we've done pretty well over the last few years against the Mancs and Roy must be feeling the pressure.
