I don't feel sorry for Babel in the slightest, he has got himself into this situation by underperforming and acting like an idiot off the pitch. What i will say about him is that he has been played out of position throughout his LFC career but he really hasn't done himself any favours since joining us.

If he gets his chance its up to him to grab it.

Couldn't agree more, clearly something he's doing/not doing that are limiting his chances.

Out of everyone he's the most frustrating player we have, he's got all the tools just doesn't seem to be able to put it together properly

That is the root of the problem. I agree that his work ethic is/was extremely poor but no one can denies his potential and talent.

Having said that, I'm not so sure he will get any chance. I am not convinced that Roy will not off load him in January no matter what he does during the training sessions and/or in the games.

I'm definitely not his fan but I think it's shame as I would like to see him play in few games in a row cause inconsistant as he is, to me, he is a bigger goal threat and could give us more in every aspect than likes of Jova, Maxi and/or Kuyt.

I hear ya mate and personally i'd be inclined to play him at RM against the mancs, i think Maxi offers the team nothing and Jovo has looked less than impressive so far and thats being kind. Your right Babel does have bags of potential its just finding some way to unlock it.

I'm sure he'll get a few runs and its up to him to grab them and prove himself.

at least now with roy we have a gaffer who i beleive will keep him in the team if he performs - unlike his predecessor
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

                Absolutely.

If Roy has intentions of winning at Old Trafford than to me Babel should be in his starting 11.

He is one of the few in our squad that have speed and pace to make things difficult for Mancs back 4.

completely agree and at least on the right he can get down the line, Evra can be very dodgy defensively to when players running him.

I will not be happy to see Maxi out there again.

If Roy gives him a chance and starts with Cole and Raul then I think we may have a chance to at least compete to win.

What worries me is that he may go with the same boring/defensive minded 11 as against Brums with an exception of Cole for Jova.

Sadly, he has zero game intelligence & ball control.
                      3rd place. Worst champions ever.

But first he has to play!

We are so stale, so slow, so lethargic and so ****ing lacklustre that Babel has to be worth a punt at the moment.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I've seen very little of Babel that convinces me he would be of great utility should he play. In the Birmingham match I would accept that another attacking change should have been made but I'm not sure that Babel has any stronger case than Pacheco and probably less than Ngog for being the man bought on.
For me, there's games where Babel's talents would be of great use to us and he certainly warrants inclusion some of the time. His attitude needs to be spot on though and, crucially, when he DOES play, he needs to demonstrate signs of improvement. He's not at the point of being a write-off yet though, not for me.

I think there's definitely something there. But as i've said, i think he needs a consistent run of games and i cant see him getting that. Given our last few games though, where we havent played with a good tempo or looked like making much happen in the final third, Babel looks a better option than Jovanovic thus far.

Babel has flattered to deceive in his time with us. Occasionally showing flashes of brilliance. He wont be with us much longer. He could be a star in a Brimingham or a Stoke. But he wont get much past bench warmer with us.

I do however, hope im wrong.
Arguably, N'Gog is currently a better option than Torres. His attitude is better than Nando's at the moment, and he's actually scoring goals when he plays. He looks hungry, humble and keen to learn and improve. I really like N'Gog, great signing and very good prospect.

He's one reason why i'd like to actually see us use Cole and one of Pacheco/Babel in the wide areas, so we could actually perhaps play 442 with something resembling creative players in wide areas.
