IMO, players like Lucas,babel & Kyriagkos will most likely be offloaded in January. We really, really need an out and out winger first and foremost its a piss take that the LM position has not been sorted after this amount of time without any success there. You'd hope that the ownership situation would change but sure i wouldn't hold my breath so maybe another window of relying on player sale and a few quid here and there.

With Kelly,Wilson,Shelvey,Pacheco looking very promising, some current first teamers can be removed IMO i.e Lucas/Kyriagkos/Babel, ones that seemingly Roy was trying to shift at the end of the window but just ran out of time. Although i'd prefer The Greek to Skrtel, better in the air,more commanding and just as bad on the ground, and i'd like to see Babel given a shot at ST, whether that will happen i dunno prob not. But IMO yes it can most certainly be improved and will be in January.

We can take a huge gamble by selling Torres for 60 odd and buying a good striker who gets you 25-30 goals(like Suarez/Aguero)for 35-40 and use the other 20 for a proper winger(Marco Marin) or we can sell Babel/Maxi/Jovanovic/Lucas etc and gamble on our youth in Wilson/Pacheco/Jonjo and use the extra money to buy a proper winger.

It's all a pipe dream but that's how I'd dream if I were allowed to

We can take a huge gamble by selling Torres for 60 odd and buying a good striker who gets you 25-30 goals(like Suarez/Aguero)for 35-40 and use the other 20 for a proper winger(Marco Marin) or we can sell Babel/Maxi/Jovanovic/Lucas etc and gamble on our youth in Wilson/Pacheco/Jonjo and use the extra money to buy a proper winger.

You can add two srtikers for what we get for Torres then. The way I see it, Pacheco can be used upfront but don't isolate him entirely. Get numbers close to him so that he doesn't get mobbed.

People always bitched and moaned about Rooney Totti Torres etc not being good enough to lead the line and that they are better off playing behind the striker but all three have led the line well and scored a lot of goals.

I see that kind of ability in Pacheco too.

Moreover if you buy one good striker and a good winger. There are a lot of players on the wings than can be sold to use to fund for a decent back up striker.

If you get a good first choice left winger in Marin then Cole/Kuyt/Jova/Maxi/Babel. At least 3 of them can be sold and that'll fetch you ~15m euros. You get decent back up strikers for that kinda money. And then you still have Pacheco for the wings/upfront

Answer: No.

That said the "gamble" will soon be taken out of our hands if no new owner is found as he won't wait much longer before asking to leave.

Very true although Jovo,Ngog and Kuyt can deputise upfront, i would like to see Babel given a shot up there just to see once and for all whether he can cut it. Hopefully Roy gives him a few games in that position and by January we'll know whether he has a place at LFC in that role.

I do agree though that in Ngog/Jovo/Kuyt & Babel, unless something drastic happens and they show big improvements we are bit short of ability up there, well ability and productivity.

I dunno mate what Roy would or wouldn't get, you'd hope he'd get full access to sales funds otherwise sure yeah there's zero point in selling. Seems a reoccurring theme at LFC, not good.

If Roy could sell Lucas and Babel (If he hasn't impressed come January) and get the full funds then i would be happy to sell both of them, prob about 14 million squids there.

Also consider selling Skrtel/Maxi too, i'd love us to go for Samba for CB, since Sami we have been missing a commanding CB who has great aerial ability and is comfortable on the ball, i think Samba would be a great option
