            That penalty decision for the Scum v Spurs springs to mind. Cost us that did. Spurs were doimg unbelievably well, winning and looking more threatening IIRC and then good old Howard saves the day for the scum.

              I am more worried about the performance than the ref to be honest. If we play the way we played against West Brom, we could have Phil Thompson as the ref and we would still loose.

                I.e he was worried about himself, about how FIFA would consider his performance. Same goes for the mancs, he knows that if he doesn't give utd the decisions, Fergie will slate him, the media will highlight it, and he'll personally suffer for it.

                      Dunno about the world, but i've always felt Clattenburg was pretty good.

                      Also Andre Marriner, Lee Mason, Chris Foy and even Martin Atkinson arent bad IMO.
