Just a wild thought, seeing KK's asked to look at past history, maybe someone here may like to look at the results to find some indication how biased he's been over the seasons, with our results compared to ManU matches he's reff'd?

I don't know how a referee that admitted himself that he is biased is allowed to referee any games at all.
He admitted after the world cup final that the reason that he didn't send off De Jong was because he didn't want to destroy the game. That is 100% clear bias towards a team. Netherlands almost won the world cup only thanks to Webb.
With a non biased referee Spain would easily won the game 3,4,5-0.
Webb is **** referee that shouldn't even be allowed to referee games at any level at all.
Why? He admitted that he don't care about the rules if it would destroy the game. He admitted that himself.
Sack him. He isn't neutral. He said it himself.Stop the cyberhate

You clearly haven't encountered the Government's White Paper on NHSOriginally posted by Red_Polo View Post

destructionreform..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

You can call it wrong, but it's not bias - he's talking about favouring not giving a red card in a certain situation, not specifically doing so to favour a certain team or player.Originally posted by Arn View PostHe admitted after the world cup final that the reason that he didn't send off De Jong was because he didn't want to destroy the game. i dont think not sending off de jong shows he was biased in favour of any one team.Originally posted by Arn View PostI don't know how a referee that admitted himself that he is biased is allowed to referee any games at all.

he was refereeing the world cup final and he didnt want to ruin it and go down as the ref who ruined it.
I have umpired games at hockey and i remember one where a team were dirty and very physical and i decided to not be as strict as normal as the game would become a farce which would have been worse. I know its not right but you can understand the view if in the position yourself.

I can understand your point but it is still bias towards a team. In your case the more physical team. Maybe the other team had built their team around smaller and quicker players and if a referee suddenly allows the more physical team to be over the limit physical then you are biased towards them. You are not neutral. They wouldn't have had as big chance if you had been neutral and refereed the way you used to.Originally posted by Marsh View Posti dont think not sending off de jong shows he was biased in favour of any one team.

They probably used your weakness during the game to their advantage. They saw that you allowed more than usual and could make more hooking, tripping and interference and so on. The other team suffered because of it.
You didn't want to ruin the game for both teams but your decision ruined it for one team, the less physical one. One team loved you and the other team hated you because of it.Last edited by Arn; 15-05-11, 10:57 PM.Stop the cyberhate

ok i will explain a bit more. There were two teams playing. One from the club that i was a member and indeed had played for the week before and many times containing friends. Then there was the other team. Now if i was going to be biased i would presumably do it to my team. Using your viewpoint i was biased against them. I also let off a player who had sent me off in a game earlier in the season and another time was less than an inch from breaking my fingers in an awful tackle.Originally posted by Arn View PostI can understand your point but it is still bias towards a team. however the view and the argument i used to both sets of players when asked was i see no reason in sending everyone off then getting the game abandoned when the opposition play every game like this so the next game the same would happen and so on and so on.
i am not saying that my approach was right i just understand how you can think that should be a sending off but i wont. Its a world cup final and if you come accross as card happy you can be pilloried. Also sending someone off can also make the game worse as one team lose it.

I think the point about it not being biased is that if Spain had been dirty fouling *******s then he wouldn't have sent their player off for the foul either.
Anyway, it's ****ing annoying how there's this prevailing wisdom bollocks about him being the best referee. Just accepted as if it were a fact and **** ups make no dent in it. Bizarre really.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

Howard Webb is a b*&£^d! BUT we didn't do ourselves any favours yesterday by being in his face all the time and diving around the place. Maxi should be ashamend of what he did and Webb didn't book him. I thought Suarez was going to talk himself off the pitch at one stage. I've no time for players baraging ref's in games. Leave that to the fans and the managers and let the players just play. If there is a grievance use it to up the performance.*************************
