Absolutely shocking from Webb again. I agree in no way did we deserve to win the game but we certainly didn't deserve to lose 2-0.

It must take a lot of self-control to be a professional footballer when a referee such as Webb constantly hands the opposition penalties/result-changing decisions out of nothing. If I were in their position I wouldn't be able to hold-back.

How Webb was allowed to be in charge of a Champions League final and World Cup final is just inconceivable!

On a serious note, I realise that it'll make no difference (but will make me feel better) at all but who would I write a letter to, to complain about Webb? The FA or Premier League or is there a Refereeing body?

...Of course past results can't be changed but I don't want that man in charge of a Liverpool game ever again. Maybe if enough people complained with details of his shocking anti-Liverpool decisions and pro-United decisions at least he'll stop ref'ing our games.

Whether he is bent, arrogant or just a bad ref, is there anyone here who is happy when they find out he is about to officiate a Liverpool match? I for one am sick and tired of this man. Whilst we can't get him the boot we can bombard the FA to request that he never officiates another Liverpool match again. I know the cynics amongst you will dismiss this but for the rest of you feel free to amend the below, it'll take you about 2 mins and as the saying goes 'if you don't shoot your not going to score'. Yes it'll probably get a standard 'we cannot comment on individual matches' response but no harm in trying, we are 'internet terrorist' after all! I HATE THAT MANC

We realise in football that referee's sometimes get key decisions wrong and in the absence of video technology this is part of the game. However, when the integrity of a referee come in to question, time and time again it is a different matter. Once again Howard Webb was involved in a Liverpool match and yet again a controversial decision was made in the favour of the team playing Liverpool. And once again there was no post match explanation from Mr Webb or even better an apology for his actions. If a player plays badly time and time again he gets dropped, but Mr Webb is allowed to carry on making bad decisions with no retribution

As such we would like to request that Mr Webb will no longer be considered to officiate any match involving Liverpool Football Club. Considering the history of the performances of Mr Webb we do not feel this is an unreasonable request and as fans who pay to attend matches, we have a right to voice our opinions and expect an appropriate response from yourselves being the Governing body and Mr Webb's employers. We look forward to your response.

Perhaps an investigation should be launched announce webb for a Liverpool match and then change it with a couple of days to go. Follow the betting. Watch the odds change. Follow the money.
