Thanjk you.

so can anyone shed any light on what type of player RM looked?
Hard to say mate as his first performance differed so much from his second half. More of the second half please, nice interplay, movement and positive in posession, short neat passes in good areas. Hopefully he can push on.
We hammered Real, but we didn't dominate United, we just sat back and hit them on the counter. Three goals I remember, Torres goal was a long ball over the top that Vidic screwed up - counter attack goal. Fabios was a free kick. Dossena was achip after he had been played down the left on the counter when United were going for broke. Can't remember the other goal?
We played our game and they offered very little. 1-4 at Old Trafford is as dominating as it gets against Utd in my opinion
that must have been some half time talk from hodgson because the 2nd half was brilliant. i really enjoyed watching it and i havent said that too many times recently.
anyway thought maxi woke up 2nd half and was reaaly good. cole excellent throughout, meireles will do very well for us - keeps it simple and likes to move. ngog took his goal well.
at half time i thought jay was struggling but was much better positionally2nd half and to win 4 1 without gerrard torres and carragher is a good result.
we needed some confidence and hopefully that will give the team the boost we needed.

I agree with Danny in one respect, because it's not like we spent the game with them pushed back on the edge of their box, defending for their lives, while we pressed onto them over and over, keeping possession and creating chance after chance.
However, i agree with redspin in the sense that the mancs didnt create much and rarely worried us. We created more and won completely on merit.
They had a fair bit of the ball around our box and threatened to create without ever really doing so, largely because we were so perfectly organised and well drilled, with excellent unity and collectiveness.
I wouldnt say we 'dominated' them as such, but we certainly controlled the game completely.
