I thought he'd score. He might have his faults but he knows where the goal is and that's one of the better penalties that I've seen scored lately.
Right in the corner and the opposite side to where he'd "naturely" place the ball, making it doubly difficult for the keeper to get to.
Bravo

I almost welled up with pride when he scored it. There's definitely something likeable about the lad, I really like his attitude and I hope he continues to do well. I think he's deceptively good, and his goals per minute stats for us are absolutely outstanding.

Lets face it he has now scored six times and did prettty well last season based on the minutes he spent on the pitch.
I think he's finally finding himself this season and doing well for us, need to keep giving him opportunities.

well no she was actually more interested in using my battery up on the HTC playing suduko.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostI bet you she was really interested
But she is happy when we win as I'm in a better mood, although she's annoyed the fact after getting to know all the players names in the past 5 years, most of them have been replaced! Who's that I keep getting asked.

I think Ngog's problem is that he tries too hard. He should relax more in games. He hardly ever smiles, only does so when he scores, which is understandable for a young lad willing to take his chance, but I think that his game will benefit a lot if he manages to take it easy a bit. Some of little tricks after he scored last night were a joy to see. One back flick to Cole was magnificent, then he chipped a delightful first time ball on the right in the penalty area which created havoc in their defence. But before that, he was a complete nuisance. Are we winning?

They are, arent they? If you were given even his goals per starts stats, and you didnt know who the player was, you'd think it was one of the world's best strikers.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View Post

He's doing fine, leave him alone!

Didn't watch the game but I imagine I would have had considerably more faith than I did when Cole stepped up for our last one.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostDid anyone here think Ngog was gonna score the pen?
I gave an approximate 0% chance of scoring.

Yep I knew he'd miss that. Basically I have no faith in anyone except Gerrard, and for a while I even had no confidence in him.Originally posted by dww View PostDidn't watch the game but I imagine I would have had considerably more faith than I did when Cole stepped up for our last one.
