Personally I can't think of a rb in the PL I would rather have than Johnson. A very complete right back. Richards is very good as well, a bit poorer offensively IMO but stronger physically.

Anyone thing Kelly could have a decent England Career ahead of him. I can see him, Johnson and Richards fighting it out for that RB spot for the next 10 years or so after he gets called up.*Except Michael, who died.Comment

several of you guys mention the attacking prowess of full backs...
when someone mentioned sagna from the arse it was mentioned about the quality of his crossing. also, the attacking prowess of micah richards, and others.
ive seen some very good attacking full backs, but many of them have been woeful defenders. they would often bomb up the pitch, overlapping the winger and then supporting the attack. this might then leave the team badly exposed to the counter attack. i have seen vera from manure, and ashley [the hitman] cole from the chavs do this umpteen times.
i think full backs should be defenders, first and foremost, and support the wingers 2nd. if the play allows for the full back to overlap, then you would think that the DM would slide across to cover counter attack break outs.
do you chaps have any thoughts on this.removing all the weak links makes us stronger

I think for a top level full back, being able to attack is essential, the are more and more required to offer width, we really need both attacking and defensive prowess.Comment
