Definitely but he should not be a scapegoat. We had couple chances to clear the corner kick before and we fail to do so. All in all very poor showing on our part but what can you expect when we have no width and everybody is playing like they're walking on eggs.

Have him marking someone else, a striker who is good in the air, should be marked by a defender, as even more than a defender attacking a corner, a striker such as Berbatov will have good movement.

Our best defenders/headers should be up against their biggest threats in the air, and Berbatov is one of their biggest threats in the air.

Man those bug eyes of Konchesky's are annoying me in that replay of the goal.

Doubt you would see Rooney or Berbatov marking Torres at the other end... If we got that far that is.

Konchesky is hopeless, hasnt a clue how to defend and doesnt even compensate by being good on the ball or a threat going forward as he's useless at that too!

I agree on the goal but we need to be wary of Sky laying into Torres. You have to remember how much stick Redknapp's taken this week - its obvious Sky now have that as their party line on Torres.

Note the way there was no mention of his run where he beat three United players. Sure he hasnt been great but he hasnt got any service. This nonsense about not looking interested is just that. Nonsense. As far as I can see, he's still chasing hard and running down lost causes, which must be even harder to do given he has no support or service whatsoever.

Horrific stuff that's so out of touch with the way a side of any quality gets results.
100% mate, roy thinks hes managing fulham still.
we never ever press high up the pitch and its crazy because press=pressure=get the ball nearer to their goal, rafa's team was excellent at it we now are terrible at it, its been the same all season, we did it against west brom at anfield ffs, even against the turks at anfield, its the way he sets his teams up and its awful.

I didn't really expect anything else in the first half from us, in terms of a team performance and from certain individual performances.

    It's the same old ****.

I feel Poulsen's done ok but the fella just isn't mobile enough across the ground. I've said it before but i think we need a Scott Parker type player in the middle of the park.
    - A little terrier that can run all over the place, snap into tackles and play the ball to our creative players.

Torres shouldn't even be in our area to be fair. He should be up on the halfway line waiting for a break.

Torres was at fault that is clear, wrong side of man. Easy goal

I thought things under Roy would be different but it's the same old **** we saw last season with no width and Nando isolated upfront.

Soft goal to concede and sooner we get maxi off the better.

Konchesky and Poulsen - wank. I see why Poulsen plays every pass backwards - the rare occasions it goes forward he gives it away.

Meireles should not be playing in that position.

Every single corner we defend causes us trouble. Man to man marking is **** and we're not suited to it.
I agree with that fully. Every now and then Konchesky surprises me and I try to convince myself he's half decent then he goes and shows his true colours and disappoints me deeply. Clearly not LFC quality.

Playing Meireles in the hole makes no sense and it's not making the use of his qualities at all.

    Really?

Done well at passing sideways and backwards, an incredibly negative footballer, dont think he has put in a tackle either.
