Konchesky has been awful, can't see how he's an upgrade on Insua. Why was he stood behind Reina? His passing has been atrocious. Maxi is as bad a player as I have seen for Liverpool. He doesn't do anything.

I don't think he had a bad half (made some errors but no body played well) but I am not sure why was he behind Pepe on that corner kick. If he had been positioned properly it would be an easy head clearance..

never even got a mention for a penalty evans push on torres back and he was crying for a penalty for carra's handball despite never mentioning it was outside the box.

I think Nando has been out of sorts, he's been the main culprit for the goal.

Anyway, I thought we gradually started to get a foothold in the game after the first 15 minutes or so when they were all over us. Very poor start to the game from Konchesky and Poulsen though they did fairly well after that. Credit to them.

Very silly goal to concede especially as we were starting to control things in midfield. We lack something in the final third but I like the movement of Cole and Meireles behind Torres.

Got dominated in that half, Maxi has to go off jesus the bloke does nothing. Cole is non existent on the left. Torres is having a shocker but nothing coming up to him. Gerrard has to be up behind Torres and maybe Merieles deeper (looks out of his depth at moment)

United are working harder and closing down the space much better, you cold see the goal coming, shocking marking by Torres, bollox about being Konch fault, simply bad marking by Torres and a nice cushioned header by Berbatov.

Poulsen IMO has done very well, solid and keeping posession well. Apart from that i'm struggling to find any positives. Konch few good tackles but looks bit nervy, same as Skrtel. We really need to step it up. It seems that we can only get to a certain point and then everything breaks down, so uncomfortable in posession too, lack of movement again.

I absolutely hate the way we play these days without the ball. We stand off and allow the opposition the ball, we allow pressure to build on us as soon as we lose it. No pressing, just drop deep and wait for them to lose it.

Horrific stuff that's so out of touch with the way a side of any quality gets results.

Well I think it's clear who the scapegoat is going to be.

I think we can guess who you mean there. A player that most people on here didn't want at LFC but forgetting the point that there is another 10 players out there who do not seem to even know the basics of pass and move, move to make space, play as a team. It's not Konchelsky's fault we are 1 goal down, it's 11 players who do not seem to know how to play as a team and which has been going on for around a year now.

I know I'm going to get berated here but to me Torres does not look a happy chappy at all. I have know idea what is going through his head, I do not know anything about body language but he has definitely not got his happy face on. I accept that alot of this is going to be down to fitness at the moment but it is probably also down to the fact that his mates (I was going to say 'team'mates but it is so far away from what I'm seeing) don't seem to want to include him in this game.

Roy is going to have to give a very good talk now and lets hope the pattern of most of our games so far continues and we have a much much better second half.

In all honesty it was poor. He was trying to contain Berba without even looking for the ball.

Me too. He was pretty much the only player to complete any tackles for us. Knives were out for him before he played for us and I expect him to be the scapegoat if we lose. We set out to contain them, and we have defended well in the box up to the goal. We'll see how the second half pans out, it's all about us scoring, or we'll get picked off as we push forward.

Hodgson has to change it at half time, Poulson/Maxi off and Ngog and Babel on - at least we'll have some pace and be more direct, coz there ain't a hope in hell we're scoring a goal with the starting 11....
