It's not tactics man, it's better players.

There's at least 4 players that i wouldn't have starting in our team if the circumstances were different:

Johnson, Konchesky, Poulsen, Maxi to name but 4.

      I very much doubt it.

90% of the team has been below par. The lack of movement is glaring, we have zero width, again!! Its ridiculous at this stage, i think Merieles might have to come off to get the best out of Cole. Difficult situation. Maxi can't cut it he gives us nothing. They look so pacey and dangerous going forward and we look slow, predictable and lacking ideas in the final third.

          I hope I'm wrong though.
Looks like you're right so far.
          Really?

I dont remember us ever going out and so plainly expecting to get beaten. Sure we had games where we would have liked a more gung-ho approach but we always looked like we had a plan. We're set up here like a mid-table team (which we're turning into very fast) hoping to nick a point from our betters without any idea of where a goal might come from.

Its early days but Im worried about Roy.

Maxi Rodriguez is hopeless and being found out.

Joe Cole is not used correctly.
Poulsen is definitely better than Lucas, Konch is average, the rest i agree with.

I think we've contained Man Utd and they didn't really look like scoring. Despite all the slating Johnson has had of late, and despite all the criticism Konchesky is getting today, both have done brillinatly to keep Nani and Giggs quiet.

United can't find a way through the middle so they're going down the flanks, but I can't remember them once skinning the full back and getting a decent ball in.

Our problems have come from being in possession. Skrtel in particular aint comfortable in possession. Konchesky was poor for the attempted cross, but other times he gets it everyone is marked, and he is rightly not being silly enough to try and dribble round Nani whilst deep in his own half.

I think second half we'll strt to press a little more as the game goes on and we'll see how we ciope with United counters then.
                Forwards.......

if you like a defender who has no pace

nani would rape aurelio for pace

No it's not, we should never have bought him, we should of bought the best left back in football...

Which is how Purslow makes his decisions to be fair.

He must be delighted now the media and Ferguson are ruffling our hair like good little boys.

That's right on the money. I started watching this game fully expecting us to lose and everything points towards this inevitable result. We're a mid table side coming to OT hoping not to get battered.

What are you watching?! Nani missed a sitter for a start.

We play defensive minded style of football that is so negative and awful to watch and absolutely kills this beautiful game. It's pathetic that we don't have anybody who thinks forward pass first safe backwards pass second.
