It's how the team is set up tactically. I can't see Roy adopting a pressing game in this one of all matches. We'll forsake possession, play deep and try to hit on the counter. Very dangerous game to play against United away from home.

90% of the team has been below par. The lack of movement is glaring, we have zero width,again!! Its ridiculous at this stage, i think Merieles might have to come off to get the best out of Cole. Difficult situation. Maxi can't cut it he gives us nothing. They look so pacey and dangerous going forward and we look slow,predictable and lacking ideas in the final third.

There's at least 4 players that i wouldn't have starting in our team if the circumstances were different:

Johnson, Konchesky, Poulsen, Maxi to name but 4.

This season has been a real throwback to the Houllier glorydays. We cannot pass and move and our football has died. We are once again the best sideways and backwards passing team in the world though.

Konchesky is hopeless, hasnt a clue how to defend and doesnt even compensate by being good on the ball or a threat going forward as he's useless at that too!

Poulsen has been one of the better players, not his fault that things break down when we go forward, lack of width and movement ain't this fault either, lets not confuse Masch's buccaneering slide tackling style to Poulsen' s solid work ethic, different players, Poulsen is composed on the ball and solid in the middle. He has been our best player in a poxy first half

all we have done in the game the scum have been happy for us to do it.

i will say it again but they move the ball forward 10-20 yards with a pass. we move it back or forward 2-5 yards.

They are not playing well as such we are letting them play well. We need to press higher up need more movement
