What concerns me most is the we didn't even look dominant against West Brom at home, we have lost shape, lost control of games and look a poorer side than last season.

How anyone can say that Poulsen was anything other than average either didnt watch the game or just doesnt get football.

we didnt look this bad last season

not much in it i grant you

i think that even when it went **** with Rafa we could rely on certain things.

now those are not a given any more

        is this Roys fault?

well i think the word fault is misleading, it is because Roy has or is changing how we play. Now in transition it isnt going to look great. He needs more time and its not a job anyone would relish at the moment is it?

we do look weaker now is that because

        we have to sell players?

        rafa has gone ?

        roy has come in?

        we are in transition?

        all of the above.

it is possible that those who say Roy is **** are right just because he hasnt had the time doesnt mean they are wrong, however it is to early to really tell and you need to take everything into account the situation at the club etc

its a long road and we have to keep moving.

get over yourself. He had a good second half.

We've been worse this year than last in my opinion thus far, at least we controlled games more often than not.

but we still lost how many despite controlling them?

The lack of chances we are creating is very worrying, even on thusrday we didnt create very much yet ended up with 4 goals.

Lack of scoring chances and players capable of taking them coupled with a leaky defence is a recipe for disaster.

I thought it was time we changed manager but only if we could replace him with someone better and sadly we didnt manage that at all

We should be less concerned about our results against these type of teams now,we are at a level well below that until we get new owners which is unlikely

Poor team performance, disappointing from Torres, Cole, the defence has lost the plot, Konchesky was dog**** and Maxi probably the worst player in the squad at the moment. Otherwise not to bad.

He did have a much better 2nd half, but still it's a bit like saying Clare Balding is more attractive than Bella Emberg.

We're playing with ten men most games. We need to field a full eleven every week. Our team isn't very good either way, but when you're a man or two down it's difficult to impose your will on games.

The question that none of us can answer though is, 'did Hodgson tell them to try and hold on to the end or is it just the players mentality especially after a number of seasons of playing like we thought a one-nil lead would be enough in every game?' (I do realise we weren't winning this game.)
I think his substitutions would answer that question for you. I'm still prepared to give him time, as you say you can't impose your methods that quickly, it takes time. But I think he's going to have to be a bit more aggressive if he wants to win games.

We've had 3 very tough games in the prem so far and we've looked second class in each of them, but we'll have a good run of easier games from now on.
                            Really?

so do you think we are making progress?

it cant be better to not control games and lose than to control and lose.

if you are controling them then you only need to work at how to make and take the chances

at the moment there is a huge amount of work there for Roy and his team.

The lack of another striker yet again is a big concern. Rafa didn't address it and neither has Roy.
