I don't think we will, Roy is ace at steadying teams and ensure we get mid-table at least.
    Are we winning?

      Positives - Gerrard and Meireles.

Negatives - We just have too many average players in the team and will really struggle to make top 6 let alone top 4. Our style of play is just so bad it is painful to watch at times. Too many sideways and back passes, not enough movement and just generally we have looked distinctly average this season. Give me Insua over Konchesky every single day of the week.

        Gutted.

        Hate losing to them cunts.

Just got back from the pub and it was full of the smelly ****ers.

It wasn't the worst performance I've seen by a Liverpool team but it wasn't far off, I thought in the main we passed the ball ok. We created very little however and that is not good enough for this football club and it's fans.

I'm not saying we deserve success and should have a divine right to it but we as fans deserve to see better really.

We didn't press from start to finish and that ultimately is why we lost the game.

Our defending was horrendous off set pieces and crosses, dreadful defending. Carragher, Johnson and in particular Reina were awful, Reina is like a ghost at the moment I don't know what's wrong with him, mind you it doesn't help when the guys in front of are so bad.

Torres is a ****ing pussy who needs to man up and take the fight to the defenders. He needs to be stronger than he has been.

He looks lost at the moment. If I were the manager I'd leave him out the team for a couple of weeks, get him to work on his speed and self belief on the training ground and then bring him back so he'll be fresher and hopefully he will have regained some of his pace. He looks drained at the moment and that is worrying.

The team is far too negative and constantly goes backward, we have no creativity whatsoever. They are all severely lacking in confidence and that needs addressed quickly.

The team need to learn some composure when on the ball and their movement has to be decisive and sharp, they have to turn on the ball quicker and run into space.

We desperately need some width and pace, someone with confidence and skill who can carry the ball and take people on.

Overall, not great and quite worrying in parts.

Positives were Poulson and Gerrard both had good games. Gerrard rose to the occasion and played well, Poulson was solid without being too over the top.

We need to improve and quickly.

in the first half united frequently had more players in our half than we did when we wanted to bring it out of the back. surprised we didn't give up a break, and a little shocked we never caught them out when pressing so high.

they were wobbling bigtime after the 2nd goal, and we still didn't try all that hard to break them down. or if we did, we just were too **** to do it.

Look at the squad players we have other than Gerrard and Torres and name me one player who can carry this team into a respectable position.

Now start looking around the league and see average teams' starting line ups. Compare them to our best without Torres and Gerrard. I did it, I've tried to be objective and I don't see a lot of difference other than the hype that comes with the Liverpool name.

Listen I don't rate Roy at all and I must admit I sully supported Rafa so maybe i'm biased who knows. Before the season started I thought we would finish around 8th place, with Gerrard or Torres we'd probably finish 12th or so. We are bad but not that f'ing bad.
So you think we'll finish 12th with Gerrard and Torres but we can't get relegated without them? I'm confused. A few positions worse than 12th is a team in a relegation battle.

Let's see what happens in next 5 games. We have fairly easy teams to play and we have to win all of those. If we do, we'll be right up there with with other big 3 and Cityh.

Hodgson was brought in to facilitate the downgrading of the playing squad, i.e. systematically asset stripping to pay the interest on the debt put on the club to purchase it.

They can't sell it so what do LBO professionals do? Sell off the more valuable assets and hope that increased revenue streams (new TV deal) will be in place so that net present value (NPV) of the club shows a sufficient profit on their personal liens to the club.

Hodgson is clearly not good enough for LFC under normal circumstances but he is perfect in the yanks eyes because he is doing as he is told..Benitez smelt a rat 2 years ago and unfortunately his last year being poor (haha if you think last year was poor...) got the heave ho for being too difficult for the yanks to orchestrate their plans of hanging on until the new revenue streams are on line demonstrable etc to attain the asking price that ensures a profit.

Thats why I dont like Hodgson the yes man because he is the chummy face of the whole LBO plus he is clueless
Roy, Fat Sam, FergieScum, Steve Bruce, Harry, M O'Neall all ****ing chums with each other and the media. I truely believe they all ganged up on Rafa.

No, no you misunderstood me. With Torres and Stevie G I think 8th without them 12th or there abouts, but absolutely no higher than 12th.

if we dont win thats our season over before weve even got started!

it wouldnt be so disheartening if we were actually playing like we wanted to win. i havent seen us play so lackluster and badly since souness was manager.

i think roy's partly to blame, he must be the most un-inspiring person alive1 i want to fall asleep when he talks.
