As i said earlier in the thread - i thought he was lively and offered us options/creativity going forward, but albeit it a little less consistently than i'd have liked. He's definitely one of the few players i look to when we need something to happen for us though. He has real quality and will show it, fitness permitting.

Thought Cole made some good little runs, but a couple of times he played the wrong ball and the attacks broke down...that's something that will come as he gets to know his teammates and the runs they will make.

Anyone watch MOTD2 last night? I thought it was decent analysis by Shearer. He said our CM/AM players kept turning back rather than forward into space when receiving the ball, especially first half. Improved in the second half and managed to put some kind of service in for Torres.
