The club is definitely in crisis off the pitch but on it we are still learning together, new manager, new ideas (ie what the manager wants the players to do which will be done if a different way to Rafa), new players but yes if it carries on then questions will have to be asked.
The difference between us and Leeds is that Leeds had a fire sale, we have not. In reality we have only lost two fantastic players in Alonso and Mascha. Both wanted to leave, one because he felt he was treated harshly by the previous manager and one because his family wanted to be somewhere where they spoke the language.
As for our squad being good enough for the top four, they aren't, well not in a guaranteed kind of way. They should be able to fight for it, but it certainly is not a given even on paper. There are at least 5 squads better than ours in Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal and Spurs, yes Spurs.
Our manager doesn't treat draws as wins, when he talks about them he tries to come out and look at the positives in the media to try and instill a bit of confidence in our players who are still suffering from the shocker we had last season which is more likely where the defeatest attitude comes from, not Roy. How many other managers do you hear coming out and saying 'yes we should of beaten so and so, they are such an inferior side to us blah blah', you don't what you hear is, 'we should of won that game, we played well, better than them etc etc' even when they have just lost 3-0 and played shockingly. It's the way managers are and have been for years, just look at the king of bull, Slur Fergie.
