I will get shot down for this but Torres hasn't been up for this season from day one. I'm not suggesting it's an Aquilani type 'in the head' injury, it's more that he just isn't bothered.

He has been completely misused, we haven't made any chances for him. It is not about Torres not being up for it, it is about a manager who openly admits he doesn't know how to use him, even to the extent that he has at times used him as a target man.
