the question is will there be any pressure on him to resign?

"We had such high hopes and aspirations but their goals meant we were facing an uphill task, we did our best to rectify but we weren't able to get there, if we played 90 mins like the second 45 we would have been fine, we started to take the game to them, both goals from counter attacks when we flung players forward.
Still confident of turning things round, don't go from being as respected as I was in May to not knowing what you're doing.
After 35 years I haven't changed or lost any ability.
Attempting to repair the team but it's a fact that we are struggling, there is no logical reason.
We're always waiting for Torres to turn up and rescue things but it's unfortunate he went off.
I don't understand how peppering their goal and sliding the ball across their goal so much didn't reap its rewards.
We've got to trust in the players because until January we can do nothing.
We changed formations three or fouor times, moved Kuyt, meireles we did what we could with the players we have got but we didn't win the game.
It'd be nice if we could lift the spirits but there's no point racking my brains or tearing my hair out because we cant change the situation.
We'll keep trying to help the players.
It's a psychological blow being in the bottom three but look at what happened with Fulham and where they were when I took them over and where they were after 35 games, we have 31 games left here."
There are so many things wrong there that I cannot even bother to criticize him.

That's the word that sums it up for me too. Something's hideously wrong at our club and it's heartbreaking. We shouldn't be in this position, the owners have ruined 120 years of history and it's not fairOriginally posted by rcasemore View Postheartbreaking watching this at the moment, simply heartbreaking!
I can see my snapping at work tomorrow with the amount of abuse that'll be heading my way!

He does. I have said something similar a number of times that we as fans have perhaps over-rated a number of our squad.Originally posted by Operation View PostCream makes a fair point. A top class manager couldn't realise the full potential of the squad, and a **** manager sure as hell can't. THey are letting themselves down badly.
Why this group of players cannot seem to show passion for the cause until we are behind is beyond me. A lot of what is going on must be down to what is going on in the background, it must be, it can't be down to them not caring but then there was this...
...one thing that totally astounded me during today's game was a point during the second half. Blackpool passed the ball out wide and our lot stood still. They just stood still while the Blackpool player held the ball on the touchline. We were 2-1 down at this point and chasing the game except our players weren't as they were stood ****ing still. This is not down to Roy Hodgson, this is down to the players and how much they want it or not as the case may be.

I have to agree with you completely, I'm struggling to keep to my view that he should be given until Christmas.Originally posted by BigChief View PostCouldn't understand the anti-Roy feelings from the respected section of this forum. But I'm beginning to see it now.
I still say give him until xmas to prove what he can do, even if its only put us deeper into relegation sh*t. However, I'm saying this through gritted teeth.

Christmas is the mid point of the season, can we afford to give him that long averaging less than a point a game, and playing such dreadful football?Originally posted by BigChief View PostCouldn't understand the anti-Roy feelings from the respected section of this forum.
