He does. I have said something similar a number of times that we as fans have perhaps over-rated a number of our squad.

Why this group of players cannot seem to show passion for the cause until we are behind is beyond me. A lot of what is going on must be down to what is going on in the background, it must be, it can't be down to them not caring but then there was this...

...one thing that totally astounded me during today's game was a point during the second half. Blackpool passed the ball out wide and our lot stood still. They just stood still while the Blackpool player held the ball on the touchline. We were 2-1 down at this point and chasing the game except our players weren't as they were stood ****ing still. This is not down to Roy Hodgson, this is down to the players and how much they want it or not as the case may be.

Couldn't understand the anti-Roy feelings from the respected section of this forum. But I'm beginning to see it now.

I still say give him until xmas to prove what he can do, even if its only put us deeper into relegation sh*t. However, I'm saying this through gritted teeth.

Christmas is the mid point of the season, can we afford to give him that long averaging less than a point a game, and playing such dreadful football?
