he's almost become the forgotten man at anfield hasn't he? it goes to show just what he brought to the team last year.

Not if pennant played more often like he did tonight, he was excellent tonight.

Well Finnan has the attacking nouse of a leper, and Gerrard seems to be doing a better impression of Jermaine Pennant than the man himself at the moment. (tonights match excluded)

Whereas Riise is an attacking machine, and Kewell when he feels like it is one of the best in the world, and brings a lot more to the side than people give him credit for.

Even a fit Warnock would be nice, Riise and warnock would be a good combo.

Kewell could even be a solution to the right side if Pennant goes off the boil again.

without having any knowledge of what a leper attacks like, other than my experiences in the grafton. I can only say that steve finnan is a very attacking fullback, overlapping his wingers at every opportunity, he also has a very good cross on him. I think you should take into account also that he was second only to gerrad in assists for us last season. The fact that gerrard and finnan where 1 and 2 in the assists table for us sort of pisses all over your argument that riise and kewell (haha) are a better attacking partnership than finnan/gerrard.

Whilst looking for the above picture I found this link and thought it was too good not to share with everyone.

What we have been missing this season is Robbie Fowler.
Proven tonight. Wake up mr benitez.

you're seriosuly clutching at straws mate. Kewell has been good in about 5 per cent of his apprearances for us. he had a patch last season where he was good, not brilliant, for about 2 or 3 months. He's not the saviour by a long stretch.

I thought Riise's goal was a good example of staying alert and having anticipation. Couldn't stop thinking that if Cisse had of had a chance like that, he would have had his head in his hands after the keeper saved the 1st shot. Not John Arne, he stayed focussed enough to drill the rebound in at the 2nd attempt.
