Our first ever game in the Champions League.... September 11th 2001!
Should never have been played, weird atmosphere that night.Yeah I'd just driven up to liverpool and arrived at the hotel and put the tv on for my lad while I unpacked the car. I walked past and saw the news coverage of the twin towers and that was weird to say the least. I went into the city center later to meet my uncle and people were like 5-6 deep watching tv's in the shop windows catching the news coverage. Radio was reporting the match may be canceled and me hoping like hell it wouldn't be. I drove back down a few days later to see the goodison derby which we won 3-1.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostAye me too. It was very strange and very, very boring.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Happy Birthday mateOriginally posted by little dave hedgehog View Postwatched both in my old apartment in copenhagen, fielding all sorts of phone calls about my birthday party that night.
felt no guilt whatsoever in suggesting that if we didn't get piss drunk together, then the terrorists had already won.

I went to both of themOriginally posted by Craig_H View PostJust started on LFC TV at 9pm.
Number 10 in the list was the 2nd leg against Arsenal in 2007-2008.
Number 9 just started - it's the battering of Madrid in 2009.
Watching this just makes me want to cry - we were so good.
Hopefully will be again.
Brilliant nights
Sigh..we were so good you're rightSack swinging like Dub-D40 on a door hinge

man i must've canceled mine in about 2006. trying to think of the last time i actually logged in.
canceled initially because i wasn't using it enough due to the sudden availability of matches over here, but thought about getting another subscription again now that lfctv is really up and running.
lord knows i want to, and get a shirt, and scarves for my nephew and the missus who have both expressed interest in them.
gotta keep up with his auntie who is trying to get the lad into the white sox.
white sox my ass.dave of mutilation
