Don't get too excited with G&H going...

...we still have the problem of an underperforming team, a terrible manager and a squad littered with coasters to deal with.

Let's hope Everton stuff us on Sunday and we can finally see Roy collect his P45 and move on to a new start next Monday under NESV ownership.

Roy's tenure will be more damaging than G&H's, that's my concern.

Firstly, the club under G&H in terms of commerical and general infrastructure has massively improved. I am aware of their shortcomings though but that's not the point here.

Secondly, NESV will run the club in a similar fashion to G&H but with more dignity and truth but the difference is that we won't have £50m of interest to pay so can be reinvested into the team and stadium which isn't a lot of money in football terms

Thirdly, Roy Hodgson is woefully inadequate and has the potential to destroy our club for many years between now and Christmas. We could lose Torres, Reina and Gerrard solely because of his diabolical management. That is too dangerous to contemplate.

Hopefully the team will feel invigorated by today's news, new owners present and new sense of direction - we may just grab the bull by the horns and take the game to Everton.

Or we'll just defend our 18 yard line with two banks of four ...

Absolutely impossible. It will never be allowed to get that far. I imagine Roy will be given a period of grace to turn the club around, but if we're still struggling in a months time, I really can't see him sticking around.

Regarding the fall out from under-performing again this year. We could lose our star players, that's true, but if Torres goes we'll get a **** load of cash to spend on replacements.

To be fair, based on this year, and last year it's debatable whether we'd be better off with 70 million - love Torres to bits, but his heart's not in it, and he's forever injured these days.

I digress. The point is that there is no way Hodgson can have anywhere near the negative effect that Hicks & Gillett have had on this club.

...and everyone thinks that Roy has turned the corner and he stays even longer? Another key worry.

                RH OUT.

**** all that, today is all about celebrating for me - going home opening a bottle of wine and just relax and bloody smile when thinking of LFC for a change!

I will worry about the rest when the weekend comes.

LOSE = Small pain for a big gain, bye bye Roy
WIN = short term delusion and Roy stays and we decay further so all our players leave

Sometimes you have to make executive decisions and ditch sh*t people. Roy is sh*t and an embarrassment to our club.

Liverpool have and always been bigger than 1 manager, I very much doubt Roy will be around long enough to have any long lasting effect.

Sure, Souness broke a dynasty, but we're not in that position anymore. We've played 7 games. Hodgson has been in charge for less than 6 months. If things continue to go the way they are going (results-wise), there is no way on earth he will be in charge in another 6 months.

And if we do lose our players as a result of under-performing then the blame still can't totally be layed at Hodgson's door. He's come into a club which is on it's knees. He hasn't made it any better, but - and I repeat - there is no way on earth that Roy Hodgson can, or will, have more of a negative effect on Liverpool FC than Tom Hicks & George Gillett. These guys are the root of all the problems we've had for the past few years.

I want him gone too by the way
