              NESV principal owner John Henry and chairman Thomas Werner were today introduced to Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson and the players for the first time at Melwood.

              Arriving shortly after 11am, the two Americans - along with Christian Purslow - watched the Reds' final training session ahead of Sunday's Merseyside derby before chatting to Hodgson and Dr Peter Brukner, the club's head of sports science and medicine.
