actually what it said was you'd expect business to shake out at the end of the month, because that's what normally happens, as teams get more panicky about the window "slamming" shut.

it wasn't any sort of policy statement, just someone's guess.

Ah is that what it said, I couldn't remember exactly but remembered 'end of the month' being mentioned.

I still think we shouldn't expect anything until around that time just so we can all remain in a calm like state with regards to new players especially as our supposed 'nailed on' Sylvain Marveaux is now out injured until the end of the season according to a post by Baracus in the transfer speculation area (although there was talk of this being a free signing for next season anyway).
