I think any criticism of Gerrard today is misdirected. He's not been great but he's still been our best player. He doesn't scream and shout but he has led by example today.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

How much is that down to Roy's tactics though? Look at how much he has improved under Rafa who set the team up to play to his style. Compare that to Roy's tactics and I think you can see where the problem is. Too many hit and hope balls played over the top.

Everything that has happened to this club the past 20 years on the pitch has been self inflicted. ****ing shocking

              Start with Hodgson

Out of the lot playing right now, the only ones worth fighting to keep is Reina, Gerrard and Carra, the rest just offers to little now.

Perhaps Torres if he can find his mojo again, and I'm still willing to give Raul more time he defo got the ability to be influential.

We interviewed Pellegrini in the summer and he was deemed to be inferior to Hodgson - why would they back him now?

A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

I'm sorry but at the moment we need some screaming and shouting at the moment, it might not be Gerrards style but my god we need something

Don't think they were looking for quality, just low expectations.

New owners who are more competent plus there's not the chaos/politics to deal with.
