I'm certainly not advocating keeping Hodgson. He needs to go. But clearly there is an issue about the right manager vs a stand in.

I have faith that they'll do the right thing. I only hope we don't become blinkered by short-termism as fans. There's been enough of that.

NESV may not be football people. But they're sports people. They've worked hard 2 build bridges. RE-build bridges broken by their countrymen

To those asking re #LFC, @John_W_Henry interviewed chief exec candidates before Xmas. And last manager Comolli helped hire? Juande Ramos

I wouldn't mind Deschamps, he's got a tremendous CV as a player and is highly respected. He would fit our profile ideally. I would say that out of every name which has been bandied about, he is our best candidate by a clear mile.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostAnyone who hasn't already put money on Deschamps, it's probably worth doing so now.Are we winning?

i remember when he was on sky as a pundit for a game and the look he gave keyes was priceless. Even put jamie in his place.
had to laugh, the other day ray wilkins was a pundit and richard keys commentated about some striker going through one and one and tried to clip it first time round the keeper but didn't pull it off....
Wilkns turns round to keys and says "well of course richard, we're not all top class strikers like yourself and capable of sprinting through, rounding the keeper and slotting it home.."
keys just sat there in silence
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do
