That picture in a nutshell encapsulates why Roy is not a Liverpool manager and simply does not get us. I do understand that Roy and Ferguson are close friends and I really do not expect him to cut off whatever ties he had when he got the Liverpool job.

However, considering the position we are in - **** football, **** signings, breaking all worse records since 1950's, danger of being overtaken by the Mancs in another 6 months, add to that public criticism of fans by the manager - is to too much to ask of him not to gush in happiness while he meets his mate ( our arch enemy) in public. The same thing happened in the Derby. The grin he gave David Moyes when they shook hands was just sickening.
