If Hodgson blags a few decent results he could stay.

We are capable of 6th even under Hodgson due to no stand out teams other than top 5. An improvement on last year position wise and a trophy and I think there's no way he'd get the boot.

We are the best team in the Europa Cup and if we beat Man Utd at Old Trafford I'd fancy us to have a real go at winning that too.

Not really, the decision to replace Roy has most likely already been made. The question is when, we have a lot of games this month and if we manage to win most, then it looks like the right thing to do will be to keep Roy until the end of the season, if it goes bad then get rid and get a temp in, Kenny or even Hiddink.
