The same Chelsea players who took the credit for Grant reaching a Champions League final (2008) now escape censure for a shocking run that could soon put Ancelotti on a flight back to Italy. At Villa, Houllier picks up the tab for disinvestment. Never mind that he won two French league titles with Lyon after his Treble at Liverpool in 2001, or that Villa are in financial retreat post-Martin O'Neill. The right response is enslavement to the rolling ticker of results, then panic.
Is this guy on the wind up? He's suggesting that players that got to the final under one manager are somehow culpable for the poor results under a different manager? Am I missing his irony here or what?!

                And as for this...

Amazing how he or indeed any of his mates said the same about us under Benitez.

                  Nicked off RAWK

There was an excellent caller on BBC 5 Live yesterday, he pretended that he was backing Hodgson, the presenter asked him for his views and he said, he has no problem with yesterday's result because if you look at Roy's away record in the Premiership over the year's it was par for the course. The people who appointed him he went on knew this when they gave him the job, so no point complaining now, then he let his mask drop and pointed out that it is no good people like Mark Lawrenson complaining about Roy now when he was one one of the main media guys on the BBC wanting to sack Rafa Bentitez and get Hodgson in. He then went on to discuss Mark Bright's claim that Liverpool are no longer a 'big club', pointing out that under Benitez we regularly played champions League football, actually won it and made the final not so long ago as 2007 at a time when Bright's beloved Man City could hardly be considered a big club or part of the top four. So the real blame lies with the people who appointed him in the 1st place including the so called media pundits written and broadcast who surely would have looked into Roy's away form and career. So no he went on he is not blaming Hodgson... Only the idiots who gave him the job and the media bandwagon calling for Rafa's head and Roy to be given the job. Brilliant call.

its quite embarrassing that we have to lie and trick our ways onto such shows to get the truth out there.

                    Media cunts. facht.

Not working this week, got the little un. I could've done something fun with him though. Instead, possibly to my shame, I've plonked him in front of Monsters Inc (he's currently watching for a 4th time today) while I click refresh on the internet hoping for the demise of Roy Hodgson.

All this talk of Hodgson is just a circus. He should be given more time (at least a season) as he has only been manager for a few months. Its ridiculous that the Liverpool are considering replacing him after such a short space of time (I assume he doesn't know that we have different owners now). That Hodgson is taking a step up from Fulham although he has experience on the continent with other big teams (nice contradiction)...

Like I said bollox. Unfortunately people listen to this, don't use their brains and believe it.
