After reading of his altercation with the Norwegian reporter, I think 'cunt' wouldn't be far off the mark.

Rewind 12 months and the bottom three were Hull, West Ham and Portsmouth, only one of whom escaped. And Hull had more points than Liverpool do now from the same matches.

Chippy and defensive after the game, he ended his press conference in a sharp exchange with a journalist from Scandinavia who questioned the lack of supply to Torres.

We still have the underlying problems of last season but they've been magnified by complete mismanagement of players and ****house tactics.

Another shocking display from us again, couple of things i took out of the game/ most knew already and are obvious:

1) Gerrard was fantastic, guy was literally on his own out there and on a different level to the rest of our lads. Has really stepped it up in last few games but seems to be the only one who has.

2) Anyone who thinks Lucas should be a regular starter even ahead of Poulsen is ****ing nuts. Poulsen has had a mare for sure but he has been here for 5/6 league games, Lucas has been here for 3 seasons and he is still putrid. Shocking Footballer. We need something else, desperately.

3) We need 2 new CB's. Carra is finished, having a good organizational skills and being a good talker only gets you so far. No point in blaming everyone else for things, when you yourself are making horrible mistakes in nearly every game. Pointing the finger isn't cutting it anymore.

4) Skrtel is one of the worst LFC defenders i've ever seen. Absolute calamity.

5) Joe Cole """cannot""" play at LM, so predictable and ineffective cutting inside all the time, just like Jovo,just like Reira, just like Babel, just like Kewell, just like Benny, i don't think its rocket science to buy and out an out winger that actually attacks down the line, can beat and man and god forbid get some balls in the box.

6) Merieles is not at ''""RM"""

7) How do you fit Joe Cole/ Merieles & Gerrard in the same team in their best positions? Answer is, you can't! So who needs to be dropped? And why did we buy Merieles then in our current system and with the players we have?

8) Jovo is a headless chicken/ Maxi is a headless chicken, and both are useless. Freebies for a reason and wage drains.

9) Torres is a shadow of the player he used to be, everything looks wrong with him at the moment.

10) Paul Konchesky has lead up his arse or must have permanent ring sting. Actual physical movement looks an arduous task for this guy. Paul doesn't seems to comprehend that the job of a LB, is "not" to let opposition get crosses in. Shockingly enough standing watching opposition and doing absolutely nothing is not effective, go figure?

11) Kelly needs to be gettin gore playing time.

12) As much as Roy has been disastrous, and i really mean that. There were massive problems before he came here, some seriously bad players,no funds and a team shattered of confidence. Its not all his fault but he is the manager as has not done himself any favours by bad signings, poor tactics and if i'm honest clueless management. He is way way out of his depth.

Meireles was not at RM yesterday. He was in past games.

What baffles me is that other than when we are losing we don't see Gerrard and Meireles at cm together.

When we were two down against Blackpool we paired them together and we dominated the rest of the game. When we were two down v Everton we paired them together and we dominated the rest of the game.

FFS, try them together, stick Cole behind Torres and stick Babel and one of Pacheco/Maxi/Jova out wide. Maybe even Glen Johnson and Babel out wide with Kelly at RB until January or at least until Kuyt gets fit.

Merieles and Gerrard aren't good enough defensively to be playing in CM, there in lies the problem. Cole needs to be behind Torres and at times when Cole has drifted in centrally he looks a different player and certainly more productive.

Merieles looks decent player but i can't see really why we signed him? Same as i couldn't see why we signed Aqua? Different players but in our current squad and system i don't think we really needed them.

We need a proper DM to protect the backline, Poulsen and Lucas can't seem to do that, having Merieles and Gerrard there is not doing the backline any favours either. There is going to have to be some important moves made in January, exits and incoming.

I agree Johnson should be RM and Kelly at RB. I reckon that would be much more effective in an attacking and defensive sense than what we have seen this season at LFC. LM is a major major problem, as is LB. The Konch is woeful lets hope Aurelio can stay fit for 5 minutes. Jovo and Maxi are useless, as is Babel. But if i had the choice out of the 3 players i'd play Babel, why........Well because he's a better rapper than the other two. Joking aside all 3 are garbage and need to be shifted asap.

Rather play Pacheco at LM than all 3 of those misfits, any which way you look at it its a massive problem but i do think Cole is being sacrificed out left because it seems he's our best option. Wasted out there IMO.

I thought he was gash. He was trying to be captain fantastic again. Instincts which were curbed under Rafa - made him a better player as a result. He's lost under Hodgson.

You can never fault Gerrard's efforts, but he should understand that football is played with the brains as well.
