the level of abuse is a ****ing disgrace, he is not doing this on purpose, clearly he is just a man out of his depth.

Yep I thought he was a decent fella too. I certainly didn't think he was vain and arrogant. And he is, massively. Vain, arrogant, self-serving, delusional and, yes, clueless.Originally posted by JohnDoe View PostI thought Hodgson was a decent, honorable man but I guess the media brainwash got to me as well. He's a deluded, closed minded fool. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Its the complete lack of looking like he's managing a situation. With Rafa, if we went down a goal, he was up doing the finger pointing, indicating to his players where he wants them, what he wanted them to do... Roy stands and fingers his face. He's looks bemused when it isn't working. "WTF do I do now?!"

Honest?Originally posted by ashey View PostHe's an honest, decent bloke. He's just hopelessly out of depth & needs to go; NOW!!!
Looking at his interviews hes far from that
Hes either a liar or hes deludedBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

He's totally delusional and should just step down before he causes any more harm.
He is a good manager for likes of Fulham, Bolton etc but he does not possess the tactical knowledge, football intelligence, motivation and/or leadership skills to manage a club of our caliber.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

In general, abuse of our own manager (or players) is always a bit distasteful, its really not the Liverpool Way. Its something we've generally tried to prevent getting too extreme on this forum over the years, and until recently were doing our best to avoid it happening too much with Roy (yes Frenchie, I know). Unfortunately as we're now at the point of universal condemnation of the the guy, the volume of stuff posted has gotten a bit unmanageable so mods are having to leave all but the very most outrageous posts alone just to be practical.
I know people express themselves in different ways, and especially when feelings are running high after another poor performance, in a derby game no less, things get said that might not normally be, but we really don't want to see a pattern of extreme abuse developing, so people do need to start showing a tiny bit of restraint before it gets really out of hand
Put simply...
"sack him, he's clueless" = acceptable
"I hope the c*nt dies" = not acceptable

I think that I'd rather be called a cunt than clueless.Originally posted by dom9 View PostI can't see that anybody in their right mind can defend Roy at this moment. Truly shocking.
