Bender's got 80% of the vote.
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

After watching one game live they'd still probably know more than Roy

If true, Roy can only have a fortnight at best.
I think he'll have the Blackburn game at the most to keep his job and even then it's a stay of execution.

I was hovering between wait and sack him, but in my head he's got four games left and to be honest he might as well just go now. Sack him, but because he hasn't done anything right rather than he's done something wrong. I like Hodgson, just not as our manager.

nesv wont sack him after 2 games.

They said they will stick with him and they will give him until xmas at the very least. If we are still **** then they will probably look to make a change.

Unfortunately, i dont think that results will improve and for Roy to say that today was our best performance of the season and YET we lost 2-0.

The guys a total idiot and should be sacked asap. Yet another really poor disjointed performance using **** prehistoric tactics.

Put simply he has to go. However, he'll get a couple more weeks at least i think as the new owners will need to line someone up, get advice etc. There's a very slim chance if we win all our games in the interim that he might save his job.

The one positive we can take from today's game is that we're much closer to ridding ourselves of Roy Hodgson.

If we were being unlucky in games I'd give him time. But we have desereved to lose our games this season.

I think the only thing that can save him in the immediate future, is the fact that NESV dont know football and, consequently, may not feel as though they're knowledgeable enough to be able to justify sacking him. They dont know how good our players can be, so this tripe wont shock them as it shocks us.

They sacked the Red Sox coach within 8 days of taking over the franchise - but then, they would've been knowledgeable about baseball and would've seen how bad the team must have been performing - and would've been able to quantify it. This doesnt apply here.

Unless, of course, they ask the King and listen to what he says. Or alternatively, what the fans say.

I'd be shocked if they haven't been doing a lot of research into what should or shouldn't be happening with this side - christ you need to look at the past 4 seasons results and poinst (JWH is supposed to be a stats freak) to know we shouldn't be this bad!

Who knows what they'll do at the moment though

We have been absolutely terrible - no shape, no ideas, no hope and no chances. The last time I felt this bad about us was under Souness but I don't remember being in 19th after 8 games.
