    Glen Johnson
    Alberto Aquilani
    Sotirios Kyrgiakos
    Phillip Degen
    Andrea Dossena
    Diego Cavalieri
    David N'Gog
    Robert Keane
    Péter Gulácsi
    Albert Riera
    Martin Skrtel
    Andrey Voronin
    Krisztián Németh
    Nikolay Mihaylov
    Lucas Pezzini Leiva
    Sebastián Eduardo Leto
    Mikel San José
    Fernando Torres
    Yossi Shai Benayoun
    Ryan Guno Babel
    Daniel Pacheco
    Charles Itandje
    Mikel San José
    Péter Gulácsi
    Damien Plessis

Now i don't know how much that is spent, but Torres is the only stand out player there, Benny did ok when Rafa gave him a chance. Pacheco & Ngog time will tell. If anyone knows the figures i'd be more than curious to know, i'm too lazy. Oh Now add in the wages too!!!!!

And Hodsgon has made some bad buys thus far yup i won't argue with that, Poulsen and Konch are bad buys, whats that 8 million or something? Rafa was kamikaze is the transfer market in his last few seasons and this is why our squad has looked so bad this and last season, 95% of these players offered us nothing in productivity, flopped and drained our wage bill, is this not true? Forget Roy, nobody wanted him here, he is just a blow in and won't be here for much longer but there is no denying the problems that were here waiting for him.
You see this is where you and I differ

    Did we underperform last year

YES I actually expected us to finish in the top 4 (just)

So clearly we underperformed but to suggest that the squad was so bad that Hodgson inherited a complete mess is ****ing horse**** of monumental proportions

Liverpool FC had one of the highest proportions of international players at the World Cup

You say all this money drained from the club well the accounts show differently our problem wasnt wages and signings making us skint it was ****ing debt

We actually traded at a profit in the transfer market in the year ending July 2009 and I think the year upto July 2010 would probably show the exact same thing

Its lazy and its very Sky Sports to claim Rafa overspent and put us in the position we were in post takeover

A squad that was generally considered to have underperformed last season (hence the reason we sacked the manager)

Except now because Roy (the media darling is manager) we have to change history and say the squad was dreadful last season to give Roy his mitigating circumstances

Mate common forget the debt im not talking about that and you know it, the players, wages and figures are there for all to see, the outcome and performances of the signings are evident.

IMO we over performed the season we finished 2nd, and we under performed last season. IMO thats fair to say. People are so quick to jump at the media and Sky, the pundits, the press etc I showed you a list of players the Rafa has bought over the past 3 years and there is "1" stand out player!! Thats 1 stand out player, how much was spent of all the players forgetting the youngsters? Now factor in the massive wage bill of these flops?

Forget the owners, forget Roy, forget the media, forget the press, the debt, the excuses. There are Rafa's signings over the past 3 seasons in print, any manager who makes that many mistakes in the transfer market for 2 or 3 consecutive seasons is going to be in serious trouble.

We all agreed that getting rid of H&G was good
We all agreed that Hodgson is bad

..... it really couldn't have lasted could it? I think the word "Rafa" will still be causing arguments on Liverpool websites in 20 years time

Forget Roy not talking about him, he was a mmistake to appoint as i have said i didn't want him in first place. Talking about Rafa's signings over past 3 seasons, which is the squad in which the clueless Roy has been left with and is clearly lacking in several areas, which should have been addressed years ago i.e. CF (Keane/Voronin) LB (Inusa/Dosenna) LM (Babel/Kewell/Benny/Reira)

If Benitez was in charge and we had just lost 2-0 to Everton and after 8 games we were 19th in the League Rafa would be lambasted by the press. The press also would say Rafa was cracking up if he came out with comments such as after the Everton game "Todays performance was our best performance of the season and we were unlucky". When Liverpool fans were defending Benitez the media were anti-Benitez and wanted him out. Yet with Hodgson he's the best thing since sliced bread. Talk about getting a easy ride.

An easy ride and yet 'nice guy' Hodgson has already become paranoid, delusional, insulting, narky and defensive. Can you imagine what would become of him if he had to tolerate the ****storm Benitez had thrown at him?

He'd be sitting on the bench with a pencil up his nose and a pair of underpants on his head

Which frankly might be a better bet than what he has been doing.

If you cannot see that the debt equated to us having **** all to spend, and that for **** all money, you get **** all playing talent, then really, there's no hope for you.

Collymore was slating Rafa's signings last night, saying how they werent good enough at the highest level. He picked out Lucas, Jovanovic and Maxi. Total cost? £6m.

Well obviously, if you can only spend £6m on 3 players, what the **** do you expect to get? Iniesta, Messi and Ronaldo?

How you cant see the relationship between debt & not buying quality players, is beyond me.

If i give you £300 and ask you to go and buy me a high performance car, what are you going to come back with? A pile of turd. Would you accept blame for that? Would you ****.

£9m NET SPEND PER SEASON - do you understand what those words mean?

And you expect Rafa to have built a squad with the likes of David Villa in it...

I actually dont believe the squad is as poor as some believe, thats not to say its any great shakes but its at least as good as where we finished last season

Dont get me wrong Rafa made mistakes in the transfer market but hes also been dealt a ****ty hand at times

For instance selling Keane (not getting the money back to spend) selling Voronin and not seeing any of that either (eventhough it was a pittance)

Like the comments to a Norwegian Journo who he thought was Danish. Benitez would be cracking up accroding to the media and it would be all over sky sports news and the papers today. I want Hodgson to do well but i feel he is out of his depth. They talk (media) hes managed top clubs like Inter. How long was he at Inter for? few mth? out of his depth and out of ideas.
