    Relegation

A very real threat and one we and the new owners cannot ignore.

At what stage of the season do we become embroiled - Christmas is the usual media friendly date but those clubs in trouble are mainly down there early on

I heard someone on sky mention that fowler said leeds went down with better players than the ones we have right now.

I watched that and basically Keyes did his level best to paint Fowler into a corner. No doubt trying to get an ex-Rafa player to stick the boot in.

Personally I believe Fowler meant that Leeds were playing better... But I may be wrong.

Yeah.....better team is what he said.

You could see Fowler was extremely pissed off

Also Leeds sold a lot of those players before they got relegated (if I remember right) so the team that started the season may have been better, the team that got relegated was quite a bit different I thought??

This is why Hodgson has to go now, give another manager even a short term one 3 months to look at the squad, motivate them before we get the chance to bring in a player or 2 in January
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

Why are the media blaming Rafa, with the team he left we finished 7th, now all of a sudden we are in a relegation battle and it's not Hodgsons fault, thats incredible that no one (other than fans) are blaming Hodgson.
It's a prediction thread on a wish list.

fowler was quite right in his comments - leeds were a stronger team when they went dowen but i dont for one minute think we have a squad that will end the season anywhere near the biottom

Things could turn around very quickly

Providing we get a top class manager in, I think we could climb the table very fast if we act quick.

It's quite an open league this year, no one is really taking it by the scruff of the neck at all. Despite our awful league standing it's still fairly tight.

Get a new manager in, lift the gloom in the dressing room, win a couple of games on the bounce, get Torres firing again and things could be so, so different so fast.

Look at what happened with Tottenham when they sacked Ramos and hired Redknapp, they flew up the table. I think, :shudders:, we need to use Spurs as an example here.

The key for me is we need to act really fast and get the right man in as soon as possible. With the positivity over the new owners I think hiring a good new manager could hugely lift both the fans, and the players and I wouldn't even rule out challenging for a top 4 finish, that's how much difference I think it could potentially make.

We're not that bad a side, and the other teams up there really aren't that good.

                      Act now NESV

We are embroiled now to be honest. I only see one way with Roy and thats downwards.

The longer it goes, the bigger hole we have to get out of

                          100%.

There is no doubt that if we got a good manager in now, we would fly up the table.

Still got some great players and even the **** ones have promise (apart from Poulsen)

We really have to swing the axe and swing it soon.

After how many games did redknapp get the job at spurs?

I think it was after 9 games. Our situation mirrors theirs very closely actually (I'm not advocating 'Arry Redknapp here by the way ).

We will most probably get relegated if Roy stay. No chance if Kenny takes over until the summer.
