Do you mean the team that lost to Northampton at home?
      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Sad thing is with that backwards line up we would still lack heading ability up top with Skrtel...

          No, literally the reserves.

No Agger, Kyrgiakos, Lucas, Jovanovic, Babel and Ngog.

We've got bigger fish to fry and points on the league table are more important than the Europa League.

I think that as we have important league games ahead and that this is only Europe Roy Hodgson should be rested, let Kenny pick the team or maybe let John Henry have a go, certainly be an impovement on yesterday.

I think we need a win for confidence as much as anything. I hate this 'it's only the Europa' attitude at the best of times but I really think that putting out a weakened side while we are in such poor form is counter productive. I've never really seen the advantage in putting out an all youth XI in a game unless they are all developed enough to play first team football.

I'd like to see Kelly given some part in the game as he is more mobile that the alternatives at fullback and probably more consistent on the ball in the facets of the game most useful from those positions. He should be challenging or in the team already given the performances of those in the defence and the balance of qualities in the squad.

Mazzarri blasts Napoli players after Catania draw17.10.10 | tribalfootball.com

Mazzarri blasted his Napoli players after they could only draw 1-1 with Catania.

Napoli took the lead against the run of play through Edinson Cavani, but after a sustained period under pressure finally conceded from Alejandro Gomez.

“I am angry, as we didn’t play the way we expected,” the Coach told Sky Italia television.

“We never seem to do well in this stadium, as we struggled last season as well. Aside from the result, I am not happy with the way the team expressed itself.

“With so many players away on international duty during the break, I saw too many of them put in below-par performances.

“I got even angrier after the equaliser, as we brought out our grit and pride, which we should’ve done a lot sooner.

“Now we are facing a very difficult run of fixtures. On Thursday there is Liverpool in the Europa League, then Milan on Monday without Paolo Cannavaro, who will be suspended.

“I knew this match with Catania presented hidden dangers and I was not at all satisfied with the approach.

“If we want to target certain ambitions, then we have got to mature quickly and find consistency.”

Interesting this, does he play the 'established stars' because we're desperate for a win or does he risk another humiliating defeat by picking the same players he slated after Northampton.

Personally I don't care, as long as Kelly, Pacheco play and play well and Torres doesn't get another injury then I'm all for us losing.

Terrible thing to say I know and I'm not proud of it but the more we lose the quicker he goes, simple as that. Any victory buys him more time

Backed into evens now but still outrageous price.

Napoli should be about 4/9 I think.

Blackburn is the biggie. I doubt Torres and Gerrard will even start...

Cheers for posting, Napoli going well but have not faced any of the top teams thus far. In saying that i'm sure they'll be very confident pitted against us they way we've been playing. Anyways cheers for posting that info mate
