His son works there too, I think.

Apparently it's breaking on Sky News.

Don't need to say much about the job he's done (we'll overlook Hodgson for now and blame Purslow for that )....in my eyes he is an LFC hero and will go down in folklore as such.

Top bloke, did his job superbly and played a massive role is securing the future of our club. Always acted with class and dignity, and never let his personal feelings for football influence things. It's a shame he cant stay on, his professionalism and competence will be missed.

would have liked him to stay on as chairman as he knows football and would have been a good guide to the owners for football and business related matters. didnt even care he was a chelsea fan. cheers martin.

I was very sceptical of him at first, with good reason I think given the **** we went through but he was a hero in the end and has probably saved this club.

I also get the feeling he absolutely loathes them two, especially Hicks aswell which is nice.
