1. Allow Gary Neville to put his finger on the ball. The penalty taker can then run up and kick him in the face.
2. Tell the defender that he sliced the ball into the net because he is crap. Then punch him in the face.
3. Inform the keeper that the free kick was given on Gary Neville's instructions. Hopefully the irate keeper will do the needful.

2. The sad thing is almost all of our defenders are equally likely candidates to slice the ball wildly. The only ones with any ability on the ball are often injured and anyway don't fit Hodger's prehistoric methods.
