He's only gonna get the boot after a defeat, so isn't it best we get the defeat out the way now? Not a chance he'll go if we win, even if it's a lucky win.

The quicker he hoes the quicker we can start playing football again and concentrate on getting results.

Averaging a point a game? Playing ****e? Struggling both at home and away?

You've been reading too many papers mate. Do you really believe there are going to be only two or less teams worse than us over the whole season? Get a ****ing grip.

Cracks me up when people think Kenny is the answer to all of our short term problems..

Why will we automatically climb up the table if we replace Roy with Kenny?
The "We can't do any worse" won't wash either..

Apart fromt the fact is is an Anfield legend and may get some respect from the players, what else is there to suggest he will do any better?

Shanks, you only need to read about today's game to know that if this Liverpool side attacks teams we will get results. Kenny would not have lfc sitting back, hence IMO he would do better.

I highly doubt there are any managers in the premier league who would have been doing worse than Roy. He's had an abysmal start and he's brought it upon himself.

I hear what you're saying Danny and I'm no way in favour of Roy staying, as things stand...

That said, IF we were to get results against Bolton and Chelsea then that will certainly put the cat amongst the pigeons..

but it worries me that bringing in Kenny, short term and then a new manager long term will really unsettle the team...

Backroom staff, coaching methods, formations etc...

The squad won't know whether they're coming or going and it could have a negative effect..

I'm hoping the board have a few names in the frame so if/when he goes, we can make a smooth transition..

(we should NEVER EVER hope for an LFC loss)

The bit in bold does make sense - I think when the change is made it would make things a lot easier being a straight swap Roy out - new long term manager in.

Things are never that easy with us though and I'd rather see Kenny at the helm over Roy.

"We won't play ****e under Kenny"

                      Is Kenny in charge?

And these winter signings are ... ?

We are averaging a point a game (It's alright, I'll do the maths for you - that's 38 points). We have played one decent game against an awful Blackburn team, and have won two games at home, one away and are playing the most pathetic, toothless football I have seen for a long time.

I'll say it again. Wake up.

I don't read the papers, and I don't particularly need newspapers to give me an opinion.

Read my other reply, it's a little bit of realism, mixed with a tiny bit of sensationalism to create debate for something that isn't exactly unfeasible.

And all this talk of Kenny taking charge smacks of heart ruling the head.

For the nostalgic and romantics amongst it, it would be great *if* he could turn things around, but he's been out of the game for a long time - Hillsborough affected him greatly as everyone knows - but don't be fooled into thinking our downfall was all down to Souness - Kenny made some shocking transfer decisions towards the end of his tenure, and Souness picked up a pretty naff squad and carried on that trend.

They'll be sounding the fans out through sites like this one. One of their CEs(forget his name)is LFC crazy. It's only a matter of time. There's no way we'll get relegated this season. Not gonna happen. Maybe their new guy's got a job at the mo. They may be biding their time. We've just got to trust them to do the right thing.
                            Ditto.

They aren't mugs and they want success arguably more than we all do as they have a major financial interest.

Roy will be given (some) time, they will look at alternatives, assess the political situation and then if results do not drastically improve he will be on his bike.

                            Before January would be ideal.

However, If they do read these forums they might be considering waiting a season and seeing what happens over in Milan. Not sure it's the right thing to do but might be in their minds.

What sort of reception did Roy get at the match? Couldn’t hear anything in the bar and aint seen any highlights yet.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

The majority of fans got behind the whole team and by a bizarre coincidence we won.
