Our run up until January 1st.

IMO Roy will get up until Christmas, whether we limp on until then winning a few, drawing a few, losing a few etc i dunno know but "IF" Roy gets up until January, its actually not a bad run. And considering we are going to buy a few heads in January be nice to be in a relatively good position.

Obvious tough games would be Chelsea & Spurs. But if we can carry on from the Blackburn game we are very capable of putting a decent win ratio together. Lots of ifs, buts and maybe and some wishful thinking but sure here's our run in until the new years, and sure here's our rivals for 4th place, left Chelsea and Mancs out for obvious reasons, sure make of it what you will.

To be brutally frank, i dont think we have any real chance of getting into the top 4 if Roy stays as long as Christmas as you suggest, so i'm not sure there's going to be much need for us to keep an eye on City, Spurs and Arsenal's games/results unfortunately.

Out of that run of 15 games, i can only see maybe 4 league wins for Roy's Liverpool.

If real Liverpool come back, then it's a different story. Real Liverpool played for the first 60 mins yesterday and on that level of performance, we could do quite well.

From now on, i support Real Liverpool.

He's got up until the chelsea game. If we lose, he'll be gone. Otherwise it will be a game by game situation which will revolve around how the other teams around us do

You might be right, bit of wishful thinking on my part i suppose. Suppose its maybe a bit of a knee jerk reaction from myself on the back of a much needed win but sure trying to be positive, maybe unrealistic but for the moment positive.

The Chelsea game is going to be a real eye opener either way. I'm dreading it

i reckon Roy is going to be assessed on a game by game basis, he is on thin ice as it stands. The Chelsea game could be the death nail for him alright.

                League wise, we've got:

Bolton away - Roy hasn't won an away league game for 22 games.
Chelsea home - I just can't see us beating them in their current form.

So we could quite feasibly still be in the bottom three after our next two league games.

                Sack him. Sack him now.

We have zero chance of getting in the top 4 with Roy and I'd say we will be lucky to escape relegation with Roy in charge

Having watched the match twice now I do wonder how many other teams will stand off us like Blackburn did

I'm not sure how successful we would have been against a team that fought and closed us down

                    Not very I would imagine
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Not saying we should keep him, i just think he's still going be here until January so we might just have to deal with it, and hope something kicks into gear.

I fear this may be wishful thinking. I hope it's not. Although, i'd prefer it changed to 'If we lose, draw or win, he'll be gone'.

Seen it mentioned that they've already decided to get rid and are just taking the time to find the right replacement. Furthermore, it's been suggested that they want to wait til after the Chelsea game, so that the new man has an 'easier' start.

If it was upto me, i'd spend a big bulk of NESV's money on a time machine, go back to August 14th and sack him.
