    Bolton Build up

Roy has started with the same 11 for what, two games in a row if I'm not mistaken?

Will he do the same this weekend?

Is Johnson available or do we leave Carra at RB and Soto partnering Skittles? Is Aurelio fit ( ) or the Konch at LB?

The front 6 should probably remain the same IMO.

What do you guys and girls think then ?

To be honest being as we are progressing (a bit) I'd like us to keep the same team. Obviously if Aurelio is fit he should come in but other than that even if things like Carragher at right back are probably sub optimal solutions, they are at least balanced out by the benefits of continuity in my mind.

I also think we should rest Johnson until he is fully fit if possible. I'd think he would make a useful sub to bring on as well.

Not playing Poulsen, as always, is key.

All valid points Dave, especially the bit in bold

I heard somewhere that Kuyt's ankle isn't as bad as 1st thought. Any idea when he's due back?

And Roy hasn't won an away game for 22 years.

I was speaking to someone who I won't mention, he's been invited down to bolton by mr coyle as he brought him through as a kid(his manager) or maybe signed him, 1 or the other (can't remember )
I told him to tell mr coyle, that I hope his team beats us. This man also was signed up by Liverpool back in the day. He brought a photo in the other day that had mr Shankly, mr Paisley, Mr fagan and some of the legends in it. I think there were around 8-10 scots in total in the photo.
Ron yates, Ian Callaghan, Ian st john etc. Were the ones that I can recall at the moment.

I know Ian Callaghan wasn't scottish, before someone thinks I'm claiming him to be.

Well for me - have to start are

                    reina
                    carragher
                    kyriakos
                    lucas
                    gerrard
                    meireles
                    maxi
                    cole
                    torres

I'd assume that Johnson, Kuyt and Agger are all injured?? which would mean maxi keeping his place, and skrtel coming in alongside the greek with carra at right back

unfortunatley i never see aurelio being fit so bombscare at left back
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Soto will keep England's Kevin Davies quiet

If it was me I'd give Kelly the left back slot actually - a bit of at least average pace/acceleration in the back line would help and frankly Bombscare is terrible.

If Roy has the balls to drop both Poulsen and Konchesky , the two players who were clearly his choices as signings, on a regular basis and keep us pressing higher up the pitch then I think he might have a future at the club (well at least until the end of the season).

Fancy that though - dropping the two players that he was instrumental in buying...

that is the key to me, and the reason why we finally produced a performance against blackburn. I honestly don't think it matters if we have Lucas or Poulsen next to Raul, but we need to keep pressing high up the pitch, our team does not function further back.

I would like to see Carra moved in central next to Soto and then Kelly on RB, but doubt that will happen.

Never change a winning team, and I think that is exactly how Hodgson will play it against Bolton.

Actually the way we were playing against Blackburn was suited for Johnson IMO, would also consider him at left back over Bombscare, I would actuallly consider just about everyone instead of old BS. Otherwise same team.
