bombscare has better ring to it...plus if we cut all the 'highlights' so far off Bombscares liverpool career and put it in slow motion with the platoon music in the background...Bombscare suits him perfectlyi own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Exactly what I said to the mrs, it even looked like we lined up zonely for corners although I may have hallucinated that due to the excitement of seeing us play attacking footbal.Originally posted by Red11 View PostI got the distinct impression on sunday that the players had told Roy "we're going to play the way we feel comfortable, so don't mess with it" and reverted back to Rafa's old tactics.
Watching on tv, if you didn't know Roy was here, you would have sworn Rafa had set the team up imhoLiverpool FC re-established 15th October 2010

Be delighted to see Aurelio back in the starting line up against Chelsea, some game time against Bolton, play him for about 70 mins against Napoli, and start him against Chelsea (well if he isn't injured again) IMO he'll make a massive difference to our left side defensively and from a delivery point of view offensively.
Please do not get injured just yet Fabio!!

Will any manager ever try Johnson at right mid? I think he would have done well with all that space. Maxi had a decent game mind. I wold love to see Kelly and Johnson linking up the right someday. And Kelly can defend, unlike Johnson.Originally posted by The_weatherman View PostActually the way we were playing against Blackburn was suited for Johnson IMO, would also consider him at left back over Bombscare, I would actuallly consider just about everyone instead of old BS. Otherwise same team.

No.
We're more interested in talking about LFC than watching us play
Plus the takeover is done and the transfer window is closed so what else is there to talk about?Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I agree with this - I like Johnson - but he has really struggled and lost his confidence - i really do think all the talk of him not being able to defend has got to him, and now he can't attack....Originally posted by vonk View PostWill any manager ever try Johnson at right mid? For ****ign years and years we've all said how desperate we were for an attacking full back - we get one, who when on form is as good as any around - and we slag the cunt of because he can't defend
I reckon - if we said to him, right glen - ur playing right mid for the next 3 or 4 games - just worry about staying wide, attacking their full back, beating man and getting the ball into the box - whilst we don't want u going awol on the pitch, don't be panicking about defending as we have martin kelly/carragher in behind you - just concentrate on using ur pace to get at them.... - i believe we'd soon find he'd get some confidence back, play with a bit more freedom - and he'd do well for us.
After that - you then look at each game - ie, when playing someone like blackburn at home who are going to park the bus in front of goal(which lets face it, if we weren't so **** this season, prob about 90% of home ganes this happens) - you can play johnson at right back, because it gives us more attacking options - and in honestly when this happens most teams have one striker up top, which the two centre backs and holding midfielder should be capable of dealing with allowing Johnson to attack -
but then - when it's a tough away game, well u look at moving johnson right mid, with a more defensive right backi own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Surely though Johnson's attacking game is built on him making overlapping runs down the wing and not taking on his man and doing him with skill which is what I'd expect from a RM ?Originally posted by PTP View PostI agree with this - I like Johnson - but he has really struggled and lost his confidence - i really do think all the talk of him not being able to defend has got to him, and now he can't attack....
